✨️Results✨️
The results make all that hard work worth it.
You are the ones who carry out the sessions, and you are responsible for what you do in between.
My job though.. is to guide you, give you sessions that work towards your goals, set you targets for in and out the gym, and push you hard to achieve this!
I also have a form of communication with my clients, so they can message me if they need that little extra help outside of the gym.
Jess was having weekly sessions, alongside her regular aerial sessions, was in a calorie deficit, getting her steps in with her doggo... she didn't have to sacrifice much, and we didn't need to add in those exercises that she really disliked 😉
Not only did she gain strength for aerial, she became more confident, started to appreciate her body much more, and came out feeling so much better.
Exercise leaves you feeling great.. you might not always feel like doing it.. but this is what's is all about.. turning up, pushing yourselves, and leaving in a much better head space 🩷🩷

Thanks to Emma for hosting and for shooting. They were fantastic and made me feel so comfortable... mum tum and all...
And yes, I had long hair for the first time in ages! And it makes me miss my long hair even more 😭

These shoots are such mood boosters and really make you realise what your body is capable of and how much work has been put in over the years 🩷

August..
The month I turned 33..
Lots of walking with the dog and kids.
Soft play to spend the last of the summer holidays with the kids (and to get rid of some of their seemingly endless supply of energy)
Drive to see family.
Then another drive to party with family..
I am absolutely thrilled to be heading into the BER months! 😍 autumn fits, autumn drinks, cosy nights in, spooky season, and then Christmas! Best part of the year...
Added bonus being able to walk my dog at normal times in the day 😬
Life isn't normal right now, but I'm still trying to keep as active as I can given everything 🙏 nana naps are definitely helping 😅

Often as trainers.. we hear..
"I don't want to lose weight because I'll lose my bum"
If you fuel your body, train to your goals and stay consistent.. then you will reduce your body fat and increase your muscle mass.
If you go into a defecit and lose your bum.. chances are it wasn't muscle.. it was body fat.
If your goal is to keep or grow your glutes, then training WILL help!
This is why when before you even start training with me, we go through your goals, your wants, and your non negotiationables.

Slightly different training update...
With everything going on, I've definitely gained some scale weight.
That being said, it's not too much, and I'm still happy with the aesthetic.
I can't wait to get back into training properly and not my current reduced regime, but for now, I'm focusing solely on getting better and looking after myself 🩷
Setbacks aren't a bad thing. It's going to give me something to work towards when I can train to my full capabilities again.
Onwards and upwards 🙌

Don't judge a book by its cover..
I am a mum first and foremost.. that is more important than anything in my life.
I try my best every day to be the best mum and the best role model to my babies.. by working hard in all aspects of my working and personal life..
But I also teach them that it's ok to rest when they're not feeling well.
I have multi organ involvement endometriosis.. and some days are more painful than others. Some days, the fatigue is so bad that I cry at how tired my body is, and it scares me to think I can't remember a time I woke up feeling refreshed or normal. What even is normal anymore?
I also now have something that causes constant headaches. Some days, more intense than others.
So there may be a day I am late to the school to drop off or pick up my kids. Not because I'm lazy. Not because I don't care. Because some days are harder than others.
My tattoos and piercings don't make me rough.. I'll kick ass with or without them, especially when it comes to my babies 😂, but seriously.. that entire perception is so outdated.
I have 'fun' hair, but that doesn't mean I'm not able to be a responsible adult. I was raised to be very independent, and it shows.
My look isn't what makes me a good or bad mum, or even a good or bad person.
My look is mine to decide, and I do it for me, no one else.
I am sensitive, emotional, and empathetic..
I put others before myself all the time.
Get to know me, my story, and everything I deal with, and then maybe you can judge me.
Be kind to others. You don't know what they're dealing with on a daily.
I will be that shoulder to cry on whenever and wherever 🩷

Sun is shining, and I'm feeling good 🥰
Release those happy hormones and get some exercise.
Get out in the sun, go for a walk, and.. my absolute favourite.. enjoy the gyms' aircon 😅
Training has always helped me.. when I'm in a dark place, it makes me feel better.
When I'm stressed, I can take it out on medball slams or boxing.
When I'm going through any tough times, it can really help me get through and create a clearer mindset.
When I'm fatigued.. I can take it gentle, and when I'm feeling good, I can go hard.
It's all about listening to my own body and not about competing with anyone around me.
I still keep moving in any way that I can so that I can stay fit enough to still work, strong enough to create a strong old lady body and healthy enough to keep up with my kids.
I still have a few spaces for in person training and online training programmes..

It's always fun, such a good full body workout and a stress reliever (especially if you get paired with the instructor if the numbers are odd 😉)
