May 16th 1976 was the day Broome Manor opened its doors to the public, bringing golf to the residents of Swindon and beyond.

A venue that has enjoyed so much success over the last 50 years, producing talented players such as David Howell, alongside many others, while creating countless memorable moments along the way. A facility that continues to welcome new faces, inspire future generations, and encourage juniors to take up the game — ensuring the spirit of golf at Broome Manor lives on for years to come. ⛳

A massive thank you to everyone who has played a part in the story of Broome Manor over the years — far too many to mention, but every member, staff member, volunteer, captain, committee member, junior, visitor and supporter has helped shape what the club is today.

Here’s to celebrating 50 incredible years of golf, friendship, memories and community. May the next 50 years be just as successful, continuing to inspire golfers of all ages and keeping Broome Manor at the heart of golf in Swindon.
