🥋 Summer Camp 2026 - A weekend to remember🏕️
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended this year’s summer camp at The Edge Adventure in Much Wenlock!

What an incredible weekend of training, challenges, teamwork and plenty of laughs!

From blindfold training and Jiu Jitsu to shovel throwing, tug of war and the obstacle course and team building exercises everyone got stuck in and gave it their all!

We also took on some fantastic outdoor challenges, including:�🌲 Knife defence in the woods�💦 Water dowsing�🎯 Sniper shooting�🪓 Axe throwing�💪 Tug of war�🥷 Blindfold training�🥋 Jiu Jitsu�🏃 Obstacle courses

One of the fun parts of the weekend was heading into the woods and finding our own sticks to use for training! 🌲🥢 With sticks of all different shapes, sizes and lengths, everyone had to adapt and work with what they found while practising different defensive and attacking techniques.

It was brilliant to see everyone pushing themselves outside their comfort zones, supporting one another and making some great memories along the way.

A massive thank you to our instructors Trevor, Shane, Bryan and Reece for all the time, effort and hard work that went into planning the weekend, organising the activities and putting together the resources needed to make the camp such a success. 🙌🥋

A special thank you to Bryan for bringing along so many of the resources we needed for the weekend, including the tyres, water butts and BBQ, which were all put to great use throughout the camp.

Most importantly, a huge thank you to all our members and non-members who attended and made the weekend what it was. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, having fun, supporting each other and making some great memories together.

A special thank you to Bryan for making the BBQ on Friday evening 🔥🍔, and a very special thank you to Shannon and Lily for preparing all the breakfasts and sandwiches throughout the camp! 🍳🥪 Your hard work kept everyone well-fed and fuelled for all the activities, and it was very much appreciated!

It was brilliant to see everyone pushing themselves outside their comfort zones, supporting one another and making some great memories along the way.

We hope you all had as much fun as we did and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

🥊 TJ’s Academy of Martial Arts - £100 RAISED FOR CHARITY! 🥊

We’re happy to share that we have now raised an amazing £100 towards Patrick’s charity boxing fundraiser! 🙌

Donations are still being accepted at the class on Tuesday 25th August 2026.

We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Patrick (from the Green Man Pub in Swindon) and Shaz (from Kingswinford), who will be stepping into the ring on Friday 21st August at Dudley Town Hall for a charity boxing match. 👊🥊

Patrick will take on Shaz Saleem over 6 x 1-minute rounds, all in aid of the Mayor of Dudley’s Charities. With 12 fantastic local charities benefiting from the event, this is a brilliant cause to get behind.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the boxing charity fundraiser. £100 is a fantastic achievement 👏

Between the outgoing Mayor Cllr Pete Lee and the new Mayor Cllr Pete Lowe, there are 12 fantastic local charities benefiting from the event.
