We’re here, adults Wing Chun Kung Fu. 2hr classes in Swindon on Wednesdays, Devizes on Fridays and 4hr Sifu Sessions in Letcombe Regis once a month.

With this months master class finished it’s nice to reflect on that knowledge. As instructors, technicians and senior students, being able to apply the depth of knowledge under pressure is where our wing chun really lays.

A few of us here at Wci Swindon last night after Haymaker testing and some wooden dummy applications.

Flowing for learning and then added pressure to experience the striking, trapping and wrestling ideas of the dummy. Without the fluff !! 🥱 👍👍👍. Practical realistic and effective.

Complex loop training today. I have found this really improves students understanding of their own defensive zone amongst many other things jt can be a teaching tool for, and subsequently their chi sau bubble improves 👍👍.

Had an amazing weekend at Tonbridge Judo Club with Wing Chun International! 🥋
We joined an Advanced session on Friday, where we focused on incorporating judo sweep techniques into our martial arts practice. It was truly inspiring to witness the level of fitness, strategy, and technique in this Japanese martial art. The highlight of the weekend was a Masterclass on sweeps by Chris Bowles, 7th Dan, at the super seminar led by Master Andrew Cameron.
We learned so much about posture, balance, and position, and had a ton of fun practicing our new sweep techniques. It was a great opportunity to expand our martial arts knowledge and incorporate new techniques into our Wing Chun practice.
We're grateful to Chris and his team at Tonbridge Judo for hosting us and to Master Cameron for his open-minded inspiration and motivation. This weekend has shown us the value of exploring new styles and techniques to enhance our own practice.
Thank you, Tonbridge Judo Club and Wing Chun International, for a weekend of growth and inspiration. Can't wait to keep practicing and incorporating these lessons into our own martial arts practice! 💪
