Wild and Whimsical Yoga

We're back from our road and rail trip around Scotland.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

London, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Lochcarron, Isle of Skye, Inverness, Aviemore, Perth, Dunfermline, Edinburgh and back to London.

Phew what fun!

Loads of memories, 500 plus photos, copious meal deals, numerous museums, galleries, adventure walks, Scottish breakfasts and most importantly precious time together.

I am very much looking forward to seeing some of you this evening and getting back into our class rhythm.

There's comfort to be found in recognising rhythm, ritual and inevitable change. It doesn't have to be major to be meaningful.

My sister and I Laura Helen have so much to be proud of. Bringing up four independently minded, grounded, spirited young women is both my privilege and my pleasure.

Despite many a challenge, Laura and I have always found a way to let the love we have for each other win.

For I live a life 
Connected to what feels right 
In heart and gut

Of being threatened or cut

For being in conversation with the Goddess
Has made me see
That life is not all beauty and whimsy

And when I am wronged
And my strength shows
Others are shocked 
At what my tender heart knows

But I wear with pride 
My ability to see
With transparency 
The times when I need to be larger than life

In this way I de-escalate situations
That could easily be

Diminishing 

To the woman
That I call me

Feeling fabulous, going nowhere☄️💙💠

Since the early Suki walks done I'm doing little else today.

Happy heat hiding ladies, I'm looking forward to seeing some of you tomorrow. Please be gentle and compassionate with yourself.

Heidi had a fabulous time at her prom on Friday night. I was very proud to hear that she danced the night away.🤎

Looking at this photo of her, I'm reminded of a few words from a Nikita Gill poem I read in class on Friday morning....

The Red Wolf

Her mother told her
she could grow up to be
anything she wanted to be,
so she grew up to become
the strongest of the strong

I am truly fortunate to have helped usher this incredible individual into her teenage years. She not even 16 yet!

Celebrated the end of the heat wave with a banana bread breakfast with the kites 🦅and a butterfly walk!
