RWBBC beat Banbury Central @ Moreton in the Marsh in the last 16 of the National 2 fours competition. The score was 41 - 20.

The last 8 is now played at Royal Leamington Spa against Silksworth from Durham on Wednesday 31st August starting at 10.00am.

Royal Wootton Bassett Bowls Club has reached the last 16 of the National 2 Fours Competition which will be played on Saturday the 20th August commencing 10.30am at Moreton in the Marsh.

We are playing Banbury Central from Oxfordshire, the Winners will qualify to play in the National Finals at Leamington on Wednesday 31st August at 10.00am.

Any support at Moreton in the Marsh would be appreciated by the Club and the players involved.

More good news for RWBBC in the Ladies County Triples Patricia Murray, Bev Williamson and Charlie Godwin won the County Final 21 - 6 and qualified to play in the National Finals @ Leamington on Thursday 25th August commencing at 9.30am.

Also yesterday in the Mens County Finals Dave Godwin won the 2 Wood Singles Final 15 - 12 and has qualified to play in the National Finals @ Leamington on Tuesday 6th September commencing at 9.30am.

A brilliant win for our Club yesterday in the National club two fours competition and have now reached the last 16 of all England and will play either Banbury Central Bowling Club or Olveston, the game has to be played by 21st August on a neutral Green.
