Marathon Charity Walk 🚶‍♂️
On Friday 30th September, alongside team and a few Dyson employees.
We are walking a marathon,
walking from Bristol to Bath and then back to Bristol, for Alzheimer’s Research UK!
I know it’s gonna be a great day of fun, sing songs, bad jokes and plenty of steps (hopefully good weather too😅).
If possible, please support us by donating for an amazing cause in the link below.

Checked out last week with . Was a leg focused session but had to try some other machines too. Definitely going back there at some point, top quality kit, top quality tunes and top quality wall art.

In every aspect of life we are always looking for the next thing, always looking forward. Sometimes we need to take a step back and appreciate how far we’ve come and not let the time just pass us by. Appreciate the now.

Movember 🥸
As a team We are supporting by moving throughout the month and some are growing some pretty sick moustache’s!

Everyone has their own problems, demons, you never know what someone is going though.
Everyone can see when you’re physically injured/ hurt but mentally it’s not that easy. Just having a chat with someone could be all the difference!

P.S. Wait to see my first attempt at Movember with People didn’t even know I was doing it😂 so thought I’d start 2-3 months early this time!

Walking for weight loss?🚶‍♂️

This is by far one of the most forgotten/ neglected ways to help burn some extra calories.
We’ve all heard that we should be walking 10,000 steps a day, there countless benefits for this. Helping with cardiovascular health, blood pressure, maintain bone and muscular strength and many more benefits which we can easily achieve by simply just walking!
But we often forget that this is also burning calories, you’d be likely to burn 300-500 calories just from walking 10,000 steps. (Yes we are all different so the amount of calories will differ).
It seems does seem like an awful a lot of steps but if you make some small changes, you’ll easily achieve this. Things like parking further away from the shops, using the stairs instead of lifts, going for short walks throughout the day.
I occasionally have some free time at work and figured out it’s walking for 10 minutes to achieve 1000 steps (and that’s with my short legs, so for most people it’ll take less time😂)

So just think walking at least 10,000 steps a day would be 300-500 calories a day, 2100- 3500 calories a week, 8400-14,000 calories month. Just getting those steps in could help you achieve your goals, so start walking! 💪🏼

Hey guys, once again I have been very inactive on here but planning to get back on it, for the 1074638th time now😅 So hopefully watch this space👀

But for now enjoy my top set on the Hack Squat which is such a great bit of kit, love it for a leg day! (Always go ass to grass otherwise doesn’t count👀)
If you have ever wondered how to use this or anything other bit of kit in let me know, and I’ll happily show you how to use it💪🏼

160kg for 5! I’m strength has finally got to the same stage as pre lockdown and hopefully will keep on going up!

Also thanks for the spot, I had to explain to him where the hack squat was as he never ventures into the weight area...

Motivation???
Personally lockdown has destroyed my motivation to train. I’ve missed throwing heavy weights around, I thought I’d change my training up once lockdown was announced. I was running and cycling once a week with several HIIT’s but it didn’t last long. It slowly became less and less as time went on.
June I’ve trained 5 times, which for me is unheard of. I normally train 5-6 times in one week😅 •

So I asked you guys what should I do, I’ve taken on board what was suggested and basically taken it to the extreme. This will include everything you guys asked for, even the running which I’m not looking forward too!😅I’m going to do the ‘Murph Workout’ everyday for July, really push myself mentally and physically😬 •

Murph consists of - 1 Mile Run. 100 Pull Ups. 200 Press Ups. 300 Squats. 1 Mile Run.
Thankfully it doesn’t have to be in order and I’ve already looked into some splits that I will try and see which suits me the best. •

I feel that putting this on here will ensure that I complete this and get my mojo back.
I will be posting everyday once it’s completed, if you want to see how bad my running gets over time. Follow my Strava😂
I already know that I might not be able to do the pull ups a couple times but I will still do the rest of the workout. And at the moment I don’t have a weighted vest thankfully so will just be body weight! •

Wish me luck!😅 Also nice throwback doing my favourite exercise💪🏼.
