Your LMA Wichelstowe & Old Town team went out for a meal last night, celebrating Jonah, Caleb & Paige’s exam results and their exciting next steps! 🥳

It was also a “passing the torch” moment, with Jonah & Caleb leaving us in the next few weeks, Stella about to return to university, and with Mrs Griffiths & Mrs Fomienko about to join the team!

We missed Paige & Rowan last night, who weren’t able to join us - one day we’ll manage to get our entire team on one team!

It’s always a laugh when the team gets to spend time together, and a great way to celebrate fabulous results and new beginnings as a team! 🥂

🚫 CLASSES IN WICHELSTOWE & OLD TOWN ARE CLOSED UNTIL 1st SEPTEMBER!

Our classes in Wichelstowe & Old Town are closed until 1st September while our team has a brief break.

While we’re closed, you’re welcome to train at any of our sister schools - classes in North Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett, Lyneham, and Highworth will remain open for the duration of our closure.

Keep up your practice, and we can’t wait to see you back on Tuesday 1st in Old Town and Thursday 3rd in Wichelstowe!

🏆 WICHELSTOWE CHAMPIONSHIPS 🏆

We had our latest competition, our ‘Wichelstowe Championships’ on Monday, where we ran a trio of events to test our students’ accuracy, power, and flexibility. Scores were added together across the 3 rounds.

We’ve just finished the maths and the winner of our competition is… 🌟 Owen! 🌟

Congratulations Owen, you were a very worthy winner, scoring high across all 3 rounds! Superb job.

Our next competition is coming up in September - stay tuned!

🏆 We had our latest Wichelstowe Championships competition yesterday with our “Taekwondo Triathlon”.

It was great to see so many people take part, and everyone had fun across our 3 events.

We’ll post the results in the next couple of days, but for now, THANK YOU for everyone who took part, and to the team & helpers who made the event run so smoothly!

✅ Hi all, the temperature & humidity in the Sports Hall is looking okay, so classes ARE running as normal this evening.

💧 Please bring plenty to drink, and maybe a fan for before / after the class.

⏸️ We’ll have extra drinks breaks, and be at a lower intensity than normal this evening.
