Great fun hosting Swindon 24 for a piece ahead of England's World Cup quarter-final with Norway. Two strong rowing nations...but who's better at football? 🤷‍♂️

A HUGE weekend for Swindon RC at British Rowing Masters' Regatta with Ellie Miles, Anna Nicol, Tom Kr, and Neil Orpen racking up several medals including gold in the Women's Intermediate 36+ 2x, and silver in the Mixed Intermediate 36+ 2x, with close 4th places in the Mixed MasB 2x, and Mixed MasB/C 4x- finals.

A herculean effort from four heros of Swindon 💪. Congratulations to all our competitors, and an enormous thank to all the volunteers and helpers whose contributions cannot be overestimated 👌

Abingdon Head of the River Abingdon Rowing Club delivered just about every season in a single day, and what a day for Swindon Rowing Club.

A standout result for Rob and Henry: the fastest double overall and winners of the Men’s Open 2x a superb performance.

We fielded three doubles and two quads, including one crew rowing together for only the second time with two members new to racing since Learning to Row…. And they came within 20 seconds of the win!!

Huge thanks to Tomek and family for transporting the boats and generously sharing them with the squad, and to our brilliant supporters who stood through the weather and made sure everyone in Abingdon knew Swindon was there.
