Not the result we wanted, but plenty of positives to take from tonight's Southern Rec Cup game.

Goals from Paxton, Da Cova, Wheeler and Webb kept us in the fight, but the Wild Cards came away with the win.

The last meeting ended in a draw, so both teams will be looking to come away with the win this time around.

The last time these two teams met, honours were even as we battled to a hard-fought draw on the road. Now, back in front of our home crowd, the question is... can we turn one point into two and take the win on home ice?

A tough result on the scoreboard, but a fantastic evening of hockey against our friends from Slough Scorpions.

The Centurions battled hard throughout and showed plenty of character, with goals from Morton (x2), Paxton, Da Cova and Davis.

Congratulations to #5 Da Cova on picking up Player of the Game after a strong performance.
