πΏπββοΈ Seven Fields parkrun Course Update πββοΈπΏ
As many of you will have noticed, we recently made a few small adjustments to the Seven Fields parkrun route to align with the newly cut green paths through the nature reserve.
This week, we have carefully measured the updated course using a measuring wheel to ensure that the route remains the full and correct 5km distance.
We would like to remind all participants that it is important to stay on the designated cut paths while running through the reserve. Not only does this ensure that everyone completes the correct course and distance, but it also helps protect the nature reserve by preventing unnecessary damage to the surrounding habitat.
Thank you for helping us look after this wonderful local environment while enjoying your parkrun.
We look forward to welcoming you all on Saturday morning for another fantastic event. Whether you're running, jogging, walking, volunteering, or cheering others on, we'd love to see you there!

π A Fantastic Day at Future of Football FC! π
What a day for our Penhill United boys at the FOF Tournament this weekend.
U15s
Both teams represented the club brilliantly throughout the day.
π Team 1 topped their group before eventually bowing out in the semi-finals after a fantastic tournament.
π Team 2 went all the way to the final, only to suffer heartbreak in extra time.
With the game locked level and heading into golden goal, a long clearance from the opposition goalkeeper took an unfortunate bounce and found its way into the net. Football can be cruel sometimes.
Walker was understandably devastated, but he should hold his head high. Playing a year above his age group, he produced save after save throughout the tournament and was one of the standout goalkeepers on the day.
He did not let anybody down.
Football is a team game, and without his performances, we wouldnβt have been anywhere near that final.
π Be proud, Walker.

U13s
Another outstanding showing from both teams.
π Team 1 were excellent throughout the group stages, defeating the North Wiltshire Division One champions and earning a very respectable draw against Melksham, last seasonβs Mid Wilts Division One champions.
They narrowly lost 1-0 to Melksham in the semi-final, a game that could easily have gone either way.

Our Champions π
π U13 Team 2
They came.
They played.
They conquered.
With outstanding defending, relentless work rate in midfield and some clinical finishing from captain Millsy, the boys battled their way through the tournament before defeating Highbury FC in the final to be crowned champions.
The togetherness, effort and determination shown by this group was outstanding from start to finish.
