Is this somewhere at Tain where my lad can just practise on his 50 without getting scared stupid? Ta!

As some of our locals will no one of our local lad Finn Creaney has gone missing. There is search parties out looking along with mountain rescue etc. Is there anyone willing to take there off road bike / quad out to help look. This would be much appreciated. This is the area he was known to have been in .

This weekend Nicky, Rhys & Adrian will be heading to Tain Motocross Track for round 1 of the www.ScotMX.com Scottish Nationals and if Tain lives up to it's name it is going to make for a good but very tough weekend.

Opening days are Thursdays to Sundays from now on.
Track will be locked on other days.
Will make an exception on school holidays so the kids can get riding all days then.

Track closed from Wednesday on to prep track for the first Scottish motocross round of the 2021 season. 💪👍

This is the second letter I have had about my motocross track it’s of course not signed as per usual it’s from some local coward who doesn’t want to put your name to it. !!
Hence the reason I am posting it.

If my track didn’t exist the riders would still ride their bikes but all over beaches and more than likely through your villages and roads as there are very few places to ride off road in a safe environment in Scotland.
The track has been here for 20 years so I have no intention of closing it the track because of a few individuals complaining about a bit of noise. You all live next to a military area where low flying jets bomb most weeks.
The Track takes in massive revenue for the local area especially over the winter period when tourism is quieter from B&B to hotels to guest houses and to all restaurants and local supermarkets.
The police also welcome having a safe area for off road motorcycles to use as it does keep riders from riding illegally.
If you think it’s down to the money it’s NOT I don’t need the extra BUCKS !! I enjoy having the track and enjoy meeting the people from all over who come to ride it’s a great family sport and the number of kids that ride bikes is immense.
Any sport that gets kids off their computer consoles is a good thing and gets them out in fresh air exercising is most important.
Please share away friends of motocross and see what comments are made there will always be negative people in the world happy to ruin people’s sports and hobbies.

Motox track is open throughout the holidays but Covid restrictions apply. Please make sure your aware of these before travelling to the track.
All riders must sign on daily and pay before entering and riding the track.
Also required for track and trace.

Track all graded for the RACE on Sunday and practice day tomorrow.
Please can all riders sign on for practice at Stuart’s van tomorrow as there may be sessions if there are enough riders.
It will give you younger riders a chance to get track time.
Big thanks to Will Munro for the water bowser and Kyle for watering track all day.
It should stand up to the warm weekend ahead.
Please keep all areas clean from littler.
