Ladies Competition Update
Last Tuesday, in fine conditions, after a random draw for partners, there was a Ladies Pairs competition.
Congratulations go to the winners Kayleigh Yeudall and Fiona Brand with a score of 152. Kayleigh also had the best score on the day of 75 net.

Ladies Competition Update
Congratulations to Claire Bannerman who wins 3 points in the August Captains Prize with a fantastic score of 71 gross, net 67, well done Claire. 2 points goes to Anne Ryan on 69 net and 1 point to Morag Sutherland on 72 net.
The Captains prize competition is nearing it's end and with only one more round to go the table stands thus:- Anne Ryan leads the Competition on 8 points, 2nd is Claire Bannerman on 6 points and 3rd are Denise Lawrie and Audrey Duncan on 3 points.

Well that's two crazy weeks over, the privilege of hosting the Gents Scottish Amateur Championships and this week we had our Annual Tain Golf Week. Both were a great success and the positive feedback has been well received and appreciated.

My thanks goes to all the staff and volunteers at the club. Ross and his team for presenting the course in immaculate condition. To Stuart, Robert & Craig for their fantastic BBQ night, Liam for his Quiz to start us off. To Stuart for getting the competitions off on time and looking after their smooth running. To my staff, Marion,Jaide,Reona, Lisa, Gail, Eryn & Trisha for their hard work in the Kitchen and bar. And to all the young waiting staff, you did the club proud. Last but certainly not least, to Dorothy for all her hard work in the office, pulling it all together and making others work so much easier. Hope you all enjoyed the two weeks and we look forward to welcoming you back next year

GOLF WEEK ALERT!!!
With an exiting & busy week just behind us, the course at it's peak and the clubhouse operating like a well oiled machine it feels like it's all coming together for golf week.
Commencing this Weekend it begins with both a Gents & Ladies 18 hole Open competition on the Saturday and the annual Stotters match on the Sunday.
The Gent's open has 5 trophies up for competition

Well its been memorable but the Scottish Amateur Championship has moved on from it's Tain stage.
Today we welcome the final qualifying round of the Scottish Golf PING Scottish open series.
The last of 6 events open to golfers with a handicap of 54 or less.
