PART 1 PHOTOS! Well what a way to cap off the week for the boys at the Annual RANDLAY COLTS tournament! Once again we had 2 teams entered with the blues unfortunately missing out on a final appearance by a penalty shootout defeat in the semis, this would have meant both our teams would have made the final which speaks volumes of the standard set by the boys… The boys in the final told me they would win it for their teammates disappointment in the semis. They duly obliged with a 2-0 final score win with Keegan and Alfie Didlock notching 1 each… Quick word for the defensive performance by the pink team who never conceded a goal all the way through the tournament. 👏🏻👏🏻 What a season ahead we have coming. That’s 3/4 tournament wins this season with 1 more 11 a side competition to play. DAMO

A great effort by all the boys today. It was a change of players in each squad from last week, however that didn’t stop both teams from smashing their groups and reaching the knockout rounds. This led to both teams facing each other which went all the way to a penalty shootout, which was fitting to our boys. Pinks got the shootout win, and went on to beat Albion foundation in the final 2-0 after a dominant performance. Thanks to everyone who showed their support today from players to parents…. Looking forward to the season is an understatement..

What a great day we had yesterday at the annual kewford 5a side tournament! Due to numbers we entered 2 teams. Parkes Hall blue and Parkes Hall pink, with the Pink team going all the way to final and winning in a penalty shoot out v Sheldon. Some great goals/performances scored by both teams with a big special mention to Benna for his penalty save in the final shootout at sudden death stage. Which then gave Jayden the opportunity for us to take the trophy home and there was never a doubt.... Well done to you all and thank you to Kewford Eagles FC for hosting a great day⚽️

Well what can I say, gutted. Zero goals conceded. Didn’t loose a game, knocked out on pens in semi-final, that’s football I suppose. How proud am I am of these boys is an understatement. However the feeling of disappointment for these lads today will only make them stronger for the future! Thanks for all the parents support and appreciation… Highlight of the day- The togetherness showed by the boys in defeat was a win for me…

Great achievement Saturday by the boys to come away with the trophy in their first ever tournament playing together. Some great goals and performances to top the group against some very good teams. A quarter final win against Bromsgrove took us into the semis where we faced Gornal Gunners who pushed the boys all the way to pens, some top pens and a great save from Lewis marched us on to the final. The final is where I thought the boys played some brilliant football and justified the win against Alvechurch with what can only be described as goal of the day and probably the tournament. (As per the organisers words)…
Take a bow Alfie Didlock.. 👏🏻 These boys will only get stronger and better and I’m certain it’s exciting times ahead for them and the supporters!
