2015 Earthquakes match report by Aaron

Earthquakes 0 - 2 Cookstown

Unfortunate this morning against a more physical Cookstown side. Boys didn’t seem to settle and play the way we know they can. It was our match to lose and unfortunately we did 2-0.

First half all the pressure was coming from us just couldn’t make it count and gave Cookstown very few chances.

Second half still unsettled, although we did create plenty of chances, we ending up conceding 2 goals through mistakes we made and allowing them to walk through us.

MOTM went to Joe who was solid in defence and calm in his distribution. 👏

Frustrating one this morning, but that’s football!! We learn and go on to the next one!! Well done boys, chins up!!! 💪💪⚽️⚽️🟠⚫️

2015 Dynamos match report by Marty

Dynamos 2-0 glenavon

An absolute tremendous performance and effort from all 11 players.

Playing a very good glenavon team they matched them all over the pitch.

1-0 from noah in the first half a great strike from a seth thru ball.

Second half was even again both teams playing good attacking football.
Olly m with a superb free kick to make it 2-0 . And cillian hitting bar with a fierce strike .

All over the pitch the effort could not be faulted a team week for POTM (that we dont do) 😁😁🧡🖤

Tandragee 2020s were in fine form this morning. Playing 4 games with plenty of goals ⚽️. Special mention goes to Isaac this week with his 2 goal contribution earning player of the match.

Thanks for the support of nice buns bleary for the player of the match award 🧡🖤

2017 Hurricanes played out yet another thriller at St.Ronan’s on Saturday morning with both teams taking the lead throughout the game.

One of our strengths is our work rate all over the pitch and we had outstanding performances from Oliva, Zac, Matthew, Quinn and Dawson. They ran themselves into the ground fiercely completing all over the pitch.

Our goalkeeper Noah, showed why he’s the best in the business with 2 point blank saves, whilst our defenders Shea, Rosie and Zara having cracking games as well.

Our player of the week was incredibly hard to pick this week, but our midfield general Olivia just pipped with another outstanding performance.

Well done Hurricanes and well done Oliva 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

🟡 Yellow 2016 Team vs Lurgan Celtic White

Another good morning’s football for the Yellows against strong opposition.

Plenty of hard work across the pitch, with the defenders putting in some great tackles, the midfield working tirelessly and some good attacking play creating chances throughout the game.

A special thanks to Josh, Henry and Zack for helping out the yellows this week.

Well done to everyone for another great effort!

POTM went to Rhys for his strong effort in defence 👏⚽

🟢 Green 2016 Team vs Dromore Amateurs Swifts

Well done team! Best game of the season so far with some great goals! ⚽️🥳

A really solid performance from every single player today. Everyone gave their all from the first whistle right through to the last.

We dominated the game, matched their physicality throughout and looked solid in defence, using our pace to launch some great counter-attacks.

Brilliant effort from everyone, and a special thanks to Emelie for stepping into the Greens this week!

POTM went to Henry for a great goal and always working hard 👏⚽

🟠🌑𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟓 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬🌑🟠

A busy 15 hours for our 2015 Dynamo team. Last night the lads welcomed Loughgalls national league team for a friendly at the Rec.

A good performance from the boys saw them come away with a 2-1 win in a tight match with Bear scoring both our goals.

This morning, it was cup action and an away trip to Craigavon City in the NIYFA Cup. In atrocious conditions and up against a determined Craigavon team, the boys done what they had to and came away with a 2-0 win with goals from Noah and Ruben.

Great effort from the boys to play two games in a short space and come away with two wins. Their reward for today’s victory is an away trip to Tummery Athletic in the next round of the cup.

Well done boys and let’s take the momentum into next week to kickstart our league campaign 💪🧡🖤

Earthquakes 5 - 0 Riverdale

League action again for the boys this morning in really tough conditions for both teams.

We pushed right from the 1st whistle with some lovely passing moves resulting in several good chances which we just couldn’t finish.

It took a wonder strike from Zac to eventually put us in front with Jake B adding a well taken 2nd - H/T 2-0.

Riverdale came out a lot stronger in the 2nd half and were on the front foot in the early stages. Lads soon settled though and Ben scored a great 3rd to give us a bit more breathing space

Luke and Daniel scored the games last 2 goals with poachers finishes by being in the right positions and following up 👏

A really good performance against a strong opponent in Riverdale.

Every single player contributed from Logan in goals whose distribution was excellent, our determined defence, super midfield and tireless forwards.

POTM therefore a tough call but Zac has been superb lately and continued his rich vein of form today. Don’t think he lost a tackle, was brilliant taking the ball out from defence and what a goal 💥 ⚽️

Our excellent start to the league continues - well done ALL 👏🧡🖤

🟢 Tandragee Rovers 2016 Greens
Match Report ⚽

A tough week for the Greens, but plenty of effort and determination on display throughout.

The defence worked tirelessly under pressure, with the midfield putting in another hardworking performance. Going forward, we created opportunities but unfortunately couldn’t quite make them count on the day.

The result certainly didn’t reflect the effort the boys put in, and they kept battling right to the end.

🏆 Player of the Match went to Will for his determination and willingness to get stuck in throughout the game.

Plenty to build on as the boys continue to develop week on week. On to the next one! 💚⚽
