The morning TYB warriors were on fire today! β˜€οΈ

ZoomCamp is showing no signs of slowing down! Training from home has become the norm since March 2020 and it is so time efficient that a lot of my clients have decided to keep it going long term.

Team TYB smashing this morning's workout. It was an absolute BUUUURNER.

In our group training programme, we focus not only on intensity but also on good technique and full range of motion on exercises such as squats, press ups, rows and many others.

The easiest thing for a trainer in a group environment is to just pretend everyone is doing well, even when they are quarter squatting for example, and just encourage them to keep going.

And that is the wrong thing to do. No matter how much I want my clients to push themselves, I would always put technique before intensity. For the sake of their continuous progress and joint health.

In the picture I have highlighted what full range of motion looks like in a squat. This was the last set of the workout. My clients could have easily done half squats, because they feel tired. But they didn't. Because that's not what they are taught to do. πŸ™‚

Throwback to when Team TYB (around 30 of us) ran 5k for Cancer Research UK and managed to gather nearly Β£4000 in donations for the cause. This is still is my favourite t-shirt.

Throwback to when there was no pandemic and we could still train indoors! I believe that in a few months we will be able to do it again.

Until then - ZoomCamp is the way forward. It has proven to be a great home training alternative and a lot of members have actually seen even better results due to the increased frequency of training.

We might be in lockdown, but our clients are still achieving amazing results and I couldn't be more proud!

Over the last 8 weeks, Ali has lost over a stone(7kg). Without starving and without any forbidden foods. Simply being in caloric deficit.

Bonus points - she also got stroger over that period.

The picture says it all. No editing, no filters.
