Woke up early this morning and decided to share this inspirational story with you:

Hilary lost 2.5 stones(16.5kg), 10% bodyfat and 2 dress sizes and is now fitter and healthier than ever before. She joined TYB in June 2019 and her progress since then has been simply amazing.

Fun fact - she now wears the same size clothes which she did when she was 19 years old.

Hilary is an absolute TYB superstar and the perfect example of hard work paying off. Since she joined us last June, she hasn't skipped a single training session.
She never followed a strict diet and was allowed to eat everything she liked - in moderation. According to her, two words(out of all my rambling) stuck in her mind and helped her the most - caloric deficit.
Without caloric deficit, ladies and gentlemen, you will never lose weight. Get fitter - yes! Look better - totally! But you need to be in a caloric deficit in order to drop pounds and kilos.

Keep it in mind and along with an adequate and effective resistance training programme, you might achieve results similar to Hilary's.

ZoomCamp is showing no signs of slowing down! Training from home has become the norm since March 2020 and it is so time efficient that a lot of my clients have decided to keep it going long term.

We have four ZoomCamp sessions are on our timetable:

Team TYB smashing this morning's workout. It was an absolute BUUUURNER.

In our group training programme, we focus not only on intensity but also on good technique and full range of motion on exercises such as squats, press ups, rows and many others.

The easiest thing for a trainer in a group environment is to just pretend everyone is doing well, even when they are quarter squatting for example, and just encourage them to keep going.

And that is the wrong thing to do. No matter how much I want my clients to push themselves, I would always put technique before intensity. For the sake of their continuous progress and joint health.

In the picture I have highlighted what full range of motion looks like in a squat. This was the last set of the workout. My clients could have easily done half squats, because they feel tired. But they didn't. Because that's not what they are taught to do. 🙂
