❤️ Keiran’s Legacy: Our 34th Life Saved in Honour of Keiran ❤️
Suddenly, and without warning, a person’s heart stopped.
CPR and a defibrillator were their only chances of survival.
Thankfully, a Keiran’s Legacy defibrillator was nearby and was quickly deployed. With CPR and defibrillation, the people using the device were successful in helping to save this person’s life.
Life-changing.
This person survived. They are part of our community.
They are:
Someone’s mum.
Someone’s dad.
Someone’s son or daughter.
Someone’s partner.
Someone’s friend.
Someone’s colleague.
Someone who lights up their family’s lives.
Someone whose life is priceless.
Every defibrillator we place in a community is there for a moment exactly like this—when every second matters. Having a defibrillator nearby, along with someone willing to use it, can mean the difference between life and death.
Keiran’s Legacy was created to honour Keiran, whose life was tragically cut short at just 16 years old. He had so much living still to do, and his loss has left an indescribable, daily hole in the lives of everyone who loved him.
Today, his legacy is giving others the chance of life.
