Tarporley Crown Green Bowling Club

Decent start to the season for our A teams in both norley and mid cheshire.
Mid ches team have progressed to the littler cup 1/4 final (to play Owley Wood A).
Norley team have reached the last 16 of the coronation Cup (to play Winnington Park A).

League seasons already started for our B teams with mixed results but already some great experiences.

Remember our Monday open/practise days start at 2pm.

Three home games this week for our A team.
Tuesday is High Legh from 2pm
Weds is local Derby versus Tarvin 6 45pm and
Friday is Castle private (northwich) again 6.45pm.

Why not pop along and take a look. All welcome.

As a member you get to use this whenever you want (when there’s not a game on!), so you can get one of the best and most relaxing views in Tarporley. All for £20 a year, free practices and just £2 per game!! Bargain!

Are you interested in playing crown green bowls, have you played before and would like to take it up again?
We are looking for new players for the 2025 season which takes place from April-September to take part in some of the leagues we play in. We will offer coaching lessons for new players and there are plenty of existing players in the club to offer help and advice.
We have teams in the Norley Tuesday afternoon league, the Wednesday evening Norley league and we also have teams in the Mid Cheshire Thursday/Friday evening leagues.

If you haven’t seen them yet, we have some leaflets encouraging people to try bowling at our club. There’s some spare in the clubhouse and I think some members have spare as well. If you want some to put up somewhere or to hand out just help yourself. Keep spreading the news!!
