Indy at Myerscough High Profile show yesterday. Coming away with a 2nd in a strong PSG class ❣️

Petplan championships 💚💙
Some super work today in only Indy’s third ever PSG. Some miscommunications were costly but super comments and positive judging.
Don’t you feel so much better when you’ve been fairly and positively judged!
As always such a well organised event by Aintree International Equestrian Centre.

Riviera PR Ltd day 5 - glow up day!

From foal to full grown - any breeder knows it’s no easy feat to get from foal to a young horse ridden away.
Having chosen the stallion to suit your mare, wondering what it will turn out like, and surviving all the different stages in between, it’s not always easy!
Harvey is the only homebred that we have kept - and he’s certainly been on thin ice a few times as his adventurous nature has got him into trouble!

There still a lot of filling out to do - he’s still very much a teenager, but I’m looking forward to seeing how he develops.

Day 3 Riviera PR Ltd

Meet the horses…

🖤 Highwell Indigo
Indy is a 17hh Trakhener gelding by Munchausen. Indy is owned my Helen Mcmurrough who bought him as a 3yo. I have ridden Indy now for 3 years, going from novice to Prix St George. Indy is the loveliest person, with endless enthusiasm. He can have some naughty pony moments - we often joke that his spirit animal is a Shetland pony. Indy’s favourite thing is definitely a prize giving!

💙 Grand Sir Galaxy
Harvey is a 5yo Hanoverian gelding by Woodlander Grand Designs. He’s a homebred - and it’s a miracle he’s made it to this age wit his tendency to do stupid things. Harvey has plenty of talent, he just doesn’t know or understand it yet! He is a massive pest - he will break/knock over/stand on anything he can get a hoof near.

🤎 Mighty Max
Max is a superstar. He’s a 12hh pony, now 28 years old (this year) he’s an absolute legend in the sport. A warmblood packed into a tiny body. He won Horse and Hound’s pony of the year in 2025. He’s still a super athlete and Jemima is hoping to do more BD youth with him this year while he’s fit and happy. He’s the professor and loves his job.
He’s trained to medium level and is showing Jemima the ropes!

💛 Syr Davey
Dave is 13hh palomino gelding, 22 this year. Dave loves jumping and is a super working hunter pony. He is good at dressage when we can motivate him - but he does a stellar job of looking after Jemima while she explores showing and jumping!

💜 Oakley Bubbling For Pleasure
Popcorn is a rising 5yo sports pony by Hulst Mando. She was backed last year and has done a little - this year we will do more with her. She is a chestnut mare with 4 white socks. She’s very smart, and very clever. Jemima likes riding her because she is very forward, but it’s not good for my nerves!!

Day 2 of with Riviera PR Ltd

How did you get into horses?

Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. That didn’t mean that as a family we were into horse sport - it was more companionship, and as a young girl they were the number one mode of transport!
I would tack up my pony Jenny - meet my friend with her pony and off we would go for miles, often getting into trouble for riding in places we shouldn’t!

I started off with a Shetland pony - Copper (in the photo) - who I used to do fancy dress on.

Jemima was instantly drawn to horses as a toddler and hasn’t looked back.

There’s something special about a child and a pony - at some point in every pony’s life they deserve the love of a little girl ❣️

My first ever dressage test was on Sox (pictured) and I really had no idea what dressage was about and didn’t particularly find it very interesting. How things have changed!

Please comment with your story of how you got involved with horses 🐎

Riviera PR Ltd

Happy new year!

In an effort to make better use of social media media, I am taking part in Riviera PR’s trot into 2026 💫

I am a dressage rider based in Cheshire, with a dressage mad 8 year old daughter- which has changed things for me slightly. Her desire and ambition is infectious, so on this page you will see a range of horses and ponies, from 12 to 17 hands!

I currently ride the talented Highwell Indigo, who has just done his first PSGs. Exciting times ahead as we keep progressing up the levels.

My other horse is homebred Grand Sir Galaxy, who is still very green but starting to understand what he’s capable of. He’s not short of talent in his bloodlines being by Woodlander Grand Designs out of a Sir Donnerhall mare.

Then the pony squad…
Mighty Max, the OG. The superstar who we adore.
Dave. Every little girls palomino dream guy.
Popcorn. Four white socks and full of chestnut sass!

We have lots of shows already in the pipeline starting with winter regionals and petplan championships 🙌

Indy knows how to deliver with the Christmas presents, 68% and a win in only his second ever FEI Prix St George 🎁🎁
What a finish to the year, and what a super year it’s been for him 🤩 Helen Mcmurrough
