Sylvan archery incorporates 'Amaranth' longbows which was founded in 1998. Hilary founded the Society for the Promotion of Traditional Archery (SPTA) in 1993. She specialises in making bespoke bows, preferring a one-to-one discussion with the archer to discuss their requirements, including test shooting of trial bows if necessary to check the specification needed for their bow.
