A HUGE THANKYOU to everyone who has supported me and work to promote archery, which has given me so much fun over the years!👍
The reason for this post:
Ar**book has clearly decided that I am not making them money with this page, and are deliberately bombarding me with totally irrelevant rubbish which won't go away. (Including random personal messages from families I've never heard of -which is concerning).
As a result I will shut it down soon, I may put some stuff 'on my own page now I'm retired as I still have some bow wood and bits n bobs left over.

I have been sent an Amacon ad selling my book for £235.32!!!!🤣🤬😡🥹🤣
It is still in print - I refuse to sell via (or buy from for that matter) Amacon for many reasons, not least their sharp practices some years ago...including banning me from Marketplace without explanation (I asked 13 times for detail)
Please let people know it is still available from me for the very reasonable sum of £15 including p&p n the UK.

The race celebrates the renewing of the Silver Arrow archery tournament, and will be presented to the owner of the winning horse by members of the Royal Company of Archers.

Apparently our Defence systems are in disarray (failed sub nuke test, not enough people signing up for the military etc. and our navy has broken its oar...)
Whatever you think of crossbows -if you're a traditional bowperson- this is important to know. Very few incidents (they admit) are caused by crossbows, so it seems the principle of us proles using weapons is the problem in principle.
As banning these will not affect the City, the govts financial and business friends I fear it will slide under the radar without proper consultation. Write to your MP. Lobby, pass it on.

Government exploring toughening crossbow rules A call for evidence has been launched to ask whether current crossbow laws need to be strengthened, as the government continues action to prevent violence
