Why is fitness really important during menopause? Well here are the main ones:
To help prevent unwanted weight gain,
To reduce the risk of some diseases and cancers,
To strengthen your bones,
To boost your mood.
You will also increase your muscle mass (more muscle more calories burnt at rest), and improve your flexibility and your balance.
And if you join a gym or a fitness class maybe you'll meet some like minded people and have fun as well!!
If you want help with your fitness during this time please send me a message.
