π£βΌοΈBIG NEWS ON FIREWORKS ! π
We are delighted that the UK government has today launched a 12-week public consultation on proposals to strengthen fireworks regulations. π
We are urging as many people as possible to use the opportunity to make their voice heard before 7th October.
The proposals include reducing the maximum noise level of consumer fireworks to reduce the potentially devastating effect very loud fireworks can have on both animals and people. This is a practical step which has been at the heart of Redwingsβ Keep Horses In Mind campaign and was reflected in the petition we ran last year, which closed with over 184,000 signatures and triggered a passionate parliamentary debate in January.
Public consultation is a key step on the road to regulatory change and consultations really can influence government policy, whether that involves supporting new regulations, or stopping unwelcome policies from being brought in.

Just a reminder that for those who like to use our arenas more frequently, we have a scheme which offers a modest discount on hourly sessions, by offering 11 sessions for the price of 10. You pay in full, in advance, for ten sessions and get one free, on the understanding that all 11 sessions need to be used within a year of purchase
One session is 1 hour's use for 1 rider on 1 horse/pony.
There are three variations:
Flatwork (RRSF) - 11 sessions of flatwork, lunging or groundwork (no equipment to be used) for Β£100
Jumping/Equipment (RRSJ) - 11 sessions of jumping or use of equipment (e.g. poles, cones etc) for Β£150
Mixed (RRSM) - 5 sessions of flatwork/lunging/groundwork, plus 5 sessions jumping/using equipment, plus one session doing either for Β£125.
For the Mixed option (RRSM), you need to nominate when you book each session what you will be doing. With this option, if you want to be able to jump/use equipment but have used all of your jump sessions up and only have flatwork sessions left, we charge an additional Β£5 per session per horse for being able to use jumps/equipment in that session, payable in advance. This option also applies to those who have bought a block of flatwork sessions, and then suddenly get the urge to leave the ground π
Sessions and dates can be booked singly or in multiples, and you can use your sessions for individual schooling or with friends, or for lessons with your instructor (provided we have been given a copy of their insurance in advance).
These prices will be going up by Β£20 per block of sessions on 1st April 2026, so if you want to beat our first price rise for arena hires in over 11 years, do please let us know as soon as possible! Thank you.

On behalf of Hindle-Jawdoszak, one of our Regular Riders :)
"Are there any small children with their own ponies wanting to make some riding friends?
I've got a 4yr old who loves riding but is getting bored riding by herself. Looking to hire arenas (indoor during this weather!) and just get together and have fun riding.
Can pop jumps/ poles, can do some mounted games. Anything to have fun and get their bums in their saddles! π
Let me know if you have a child with their own pony who might be interested."
Please follow the link to Jess in comments below :) Thank you.

SCAM ALERT
We have been made aware that this FB profile is fraudulently using our address as their location!
We have absolutely no connection to this profile and have no idea who the person behind the profile is. They are not based here, the photos have not been not taken here, we have never seen the horse, which is not here, and we have never knowingly met the rider, who is also not here.
Please do not travel here expecting to see this horse!
For the record, we do not offer sales livery. We do offer wonderful Full, Part and Enhanced DIY livery, by real people, for real horses, in real facilities π Do get in touch if you're looking π
