A busy summer at Somerset Electrical & Property Services

It’s been a varied summer for the team, working across industrial, commercial and domestic electrical projects throughout Somerset and beyond.

From consumer unit upgrades, electrical inspection and testing, fault finding and everyday electrical work, through to CCTV and security installations, EV charging, solar PV and battery storage, there’s been plenty of variety.

Our commercial work continues to be particularly diverse, supporting businesses with ongoing electrical requirements, compliance and testing, facility upgrades and alterations, as well as larger projects including renovations, extensions and the electrical installation required for new areas of commercial premises.

On the domestic side, the range can be just as broad, from installing an oven or additional sockets through to rewires, renovations, new electrical installations and renewable technologies.

Alongside the practical work, we continue to support electrical safety, certification, compliance and landlord responsibilities, helping ensure installations are not only working properly, but meeting the standards expected of them.

It’s a good reflection of what Somerset Electrical & Property Services has always been about, qualified, certified engineers providing practical electrical expertise across projects of every size.

Ten years ago, Steve Eastick established Somerset Electrical and Property Services with his partner Kathryn. A decade later, it’s fantastic to see a business that continues to grow through hard work, integrity and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Steve brings an incredible depth of experience to everything he does, from electronics and telecommunications to electrical engineering, alongside senior leadership roles within large organisations, including Estates Director. This breadth of knowledge has helped build a business that now delivers an impressive range of services across the South West, from domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work to security solutions, solar energy installations, large commercial projects and even the specialist servicing of kilns.

Just as importantly, Somerset Electrical and Property Services has invested in people, supporting apprentices and helping develop the next generation of skilled electricians, while continuing to serve customers throughout the region, and importantly local communities around Wiveliscombe and the 10 Parishes.

A milestone like this is never achieved alone. A heartfelt thank you to every customer, colleague, supplier, contractor, apprentice, friend and family member who has supported Steve and Somerset Electrical and Property Services over the past ten years. Your trust, loyalty and encouragement have all played a part in this journey and in the continued success of the business.

Congratulations, Steve and team, on reaching this significant milestone. Here’s to celebrating ten successful years, and to many more to come.
