The season may be over, but we’re already looking ahead to next season!

We’re welcoming new players to our Under 11s, Under 13s and Under 15s teams.

🏏 Maybe your child is already playing cricket and fancying a new challenge.

🏏 Maybe they haven’t had many opportunities to play matches.

🏏 Or maybe they’re simply looking for a friendly village club where they can enjoy their cricket, make friends and grow in confidence.

🏏 Another brilliant weekend of youth cricket at The Grove!

Two fantastic performances from 2 of our junior teams, with both the Under 11’s and Under 13’s coming away with well-earned victories.

There was some excellent cricket on display, with great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout.

A huge thank you to Wellington Cricket Club and Stogumber Cricket Club for two competitive games played in the right spirit.

Well done to everyone involved! 👏💚💛

🏏 Another fantastic weekend of youth cricket at The Grove! 💚💛

Three great games, with some excellent cricket played in extremely hot conditions. The heat made it tough for everyone, so a huge well done to all the players for their effort, determination and teamwork.

Congratulations to our Under 13’s and Under 11’s on their victories, and to our Under 15’s for battling hard right to the end.

Another win on the board, but that’s only part of the story. 💚🏏

What a fantastic evening at The Grove last night! A brilliant game, another well-earned victory, and, as always, an incredible team spirit from every single player.

These photos sum up everything we love about village cricket. It’s not just about the runs, wickets or results – it’s about young players learning together, supporting one another, building friendships, and growing in confidence every time they step onto the field.

Watching the team celebrate together as the sun set over the ground was a reminder of why youth cricket is so special. Every player develops at their own pace, every contribution matters, and everyone is part of the journey.

We’re so proud of this group and the way they represent our club.

This is village cricket. This is community. This is why we love The Grove. 💚

☀️The weather is looking very warm again, but our clubhouse will be open for cold drinks and water available ☀️
