Today our F.C. Rhinos Taunton U12s played a fantastic friendly match against Bridgwater Wolves! ⚽️🔥
There was plenty of action, lots of goals, great football and fantastic energy from both teams! 👏⚽️
The boys showed great commitment, teamwork and a real desire to play. Most importantly, everyone enjoyed the game and created a brilliant atmosphere both on and off the pitch. ❤️
👏 A huge thank you to all the players for their effort, passion and fantastic attitude.
👏 A big thank you also to the Bridgwater Wolves players and coaches for a great game and for helping to create such a positive and enjoyable footballing experience.

Boys and girls who love football, want to train, play matches, and have fun! We are currently recruiting for:

U6 (Born 2020–2021) – Training: Mondays

U8 & U9 (Born 2017–2020) – Training: Tuesdays

U14 (Born 2012–2013) – Training: Wednesdays & Thursdays

📅 Training Schedule & Kick-off:

Training starts: From August 24, 2026! 🚀

Location (Outdoor Season): Victoria Park. (Winter training will move to Taunton Vale Sports Club and Bishop Fox's School, Bishop Fox Dr, Taunton TA1 3HQ).

Dear Parents,

As the season comes to an end, we would like to thank all of our players and families for your fantastic support, commitment, and enthusiasm throughout the year. We wish you all a wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable summer holiday! ☀️⚽

The last official training session before the summer break will take place on Thursday, 23rd July 2026.

We will return to our regular training schedule on Monday, 24th August 2026.

Summer Training Sessions (Optional)

For players who would like to stay active during the summer, we will be running optional training sessions at Victoria Park:

⚽ Tuesdays – 6:00 PM

U8
U9

⚽ Thursdays – 6:00 PM

U12
U14

These sessions are also open to friends who would like to come along and try football with F.C Rhinos.

💷 Cost: £5 per player, per session.
Payment should be made in cash to the coach before each training session.

📲 In the event of bad weather or any changes, updates will be posted on Teamer.

Due to the high temperatures forecast for this week, all F.C. Rhinos training sessions have been cancelled.
The health and wellbeing of our players is always our top priority, and after carefully considering the weather conditions, we feel it is safest for the children to avoid training in extreme heat.

Just a reminder that our Charity Match will take place on Saturday, 27th June 2026.
🕤 Players to arrive: 9:30am
🕥 Kick-off: 10:30am
The match will be played over 3 x 30-minute periods to ensure that every player gets plenty of game time and the opportunity to showcase their skills.

🏆 FC RHINOS TAUNTON – SEASON 2025/26 PRESENTATION 🦏⚽

Last Saturday we came together to celebrate another fantastic season at FC Rhinos Taunton.

From our U7s taking their first steps in football, to our U14s continuing their development, every player has contributed to what has been a memorable season both on and off the pitch.

A special congratulations goes to our U13s, who finished runners-up in the league and secured promotion to Division 2 – a fantastic achievement that reflects their commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the season. Well done also to our U9s for finishing runners-up at the Bishops Lydeard Tournament and proudly representing the club.

While trophies and league positions are always nice to celebrate, they are only part of the story. Behind every match and training session are countless hours of hard work, learning, encouragement and growth. The progress made by all our players this season has been outstanding.

A huge thank you goes to our coaches, who dedicate their time and energy week after week, helping every child improve not only as footballers but as young people. Thank you also to our parents and families for the lifts, support from the sidelines, washing muddy kits and standing in the rain when common sense suggested staying at home!

We would also like to thank our sponsors for their continued support. Their contribution helps us provide opportunities for local children to enjoy football in a positive and welcoming environment. Special thanks to J. Neal Artisan Builders Ltd for their support throughout the season.

FC Rhinos has never been just about winning football matches. It is about friendships, confidence, teamwork, respect and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The medals, trophies and goals are important, but nothing is more important than seeing children arrive with a smile and leave with an even bigger one.
