🏆 FC RHINOS TAUNTON – SEASON 2025/26 PRESENTATION 🦏⚽

Last Saturday we came together to celebrate another fantastic season at FC Rhinos Taunton.

From our U7s taking their first steps in football, to our U14s continuing their development, every player has contributed to what has been a memorable season both on and off the pitch.

A special congratulations goes to our U13s, who finished runners-up in the league and secured promotion to Division 2 – a fantastic achievement that reflects their commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the season. Well done also to our U9s for finishing runners-up at the Bishops Lydeard Tournament and proudly representing the club.

While trophies and league positions are always nice to celebrate, they are only part of the story. Behind every match and training session are countless hours of hard work, learning, encouragement and growth. The progress made by all our players this season has been outstanding.

A huge thank you goes to our coaches, who dedicate their time and energy week after week, helping every child improve not only as footballers but as young people. Thank you also to our parents and families for the lifts, support from the sidelines, washing muddy kits and standing in the rain when common sense suggested staying at home!

We would also like to thank our sponsors for their continued support. Their contribution helps us provide opportunities for local children to enjoy football in a positive and welcoming environment. Special thanks to J. Neal Artisan Builders Ltd for their support throughout the season.

FC Rhinos has never been just about winning football matches. It is about friendships, confidence, teamwork, respect and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The medals, trophies and goals are important, but nothing is more important than seeing children arrive with a smile and leave with an even bigger one.

As we look ahead to the 2026/27 season, we remain committed to providing a safe, enjoyable and ambitious environment where every child can develop, belong and enjoy the game.

⚽️ Tournament Success at Bishops Lydeard! What a Day! 🏆🔥

What an incredible day of non-stop action, beautiful goals, and pure football passion! We headed to the Bishops Lydeard tournament, and we can proudly say one thing: every single one of our teams did an absolutely fantastic job! 👏

Here is how our young superstars rocked the pitches:

Under 7s (U7) 🌟 – They played brilliantly! Their games were filled with pure joy, massive smiles, and so much fun. Future stars in the making!

Under 9s (U9) 🥈 – What a fantastic run to the final! They stormed through the tournament to reach the big stage. After a hard-fought battle, they narrowly missed out on the top spot, but a HUGE round of applause goes to them for their incredible character and silver medals!

Under 11s (U11) 🦅 – We entered two teams in this age group. Both sides put on a showcase of superb football, quick passing, and great heart. While neither managed to reach the final this time, their style of play was top-class!

Under 13s (U13) 💪 – Another age group where we fielded two squads. Both teams proved beyond doubt that they know exactly how to play top-tier football! Lady Luck just wasn't on our side today, and despite playing their hearts out, they missed out on the final.

A massive round of applause for EVERY SINGLE player! 🔴⚪️

We are incredibly proud of every minute spent on the pitch today. Our players showed amazing character, fantastic team spirit, and everything that makes football the beautiful game.

A huge thank you to our amazing parents and supporters for the brilliant energy on the sidelines—you were our extra player today! 📣 Time to rest up today, and we'll be back at training tomorrow with even more energy!
