After a week of warm temps how about celebrating some cooler weather by heading out with your horse / pony?

Our friends over at Taunton & District Riding Club are holding this fabulous showing show at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre.

Remember - use it or lose it, small friendly local shows are dying out and they need your support

Our lovely friends over at Mendip Bridleways and Byways Association are holding their annual fun ride in Glastonbury in September.

So go and enjoy the clear bridleway once more this weekend!

Update on the rather large tree that is blocking bridleway 4/32.

We have been in contact with the Rights of Way Officer to ask why this tree has remained for so long.

We have been advised that wet weather has stopped access, however now the ground has dried up the contractor, and land owner have been notified to proceed with steps for removal.

Please note this is a costly removal due to the size and location of the tree.

The association is now monitoring this closely and will offer support where required.
