Taunton Regional Celebration- Bridgwater & Taunton Canal-T&DAA-23/05/2026 This Regional Celebration is one of 34 held nationally. You will need your own equipment and the ability to fish with minimum assistance.

We will be providing some Hi-viz vets and litter pickers, but if you have any of your own, please bring them along.

Saturday 25th saw us at one of our favourite venues Thorney Lakes
The lake looked good despite rumours of lots of w**d !!
A brilliant day all round for the juniors with some getting new PBs and others catching new species
We also welcomed some new members to club
Great fishing from everyone although hard in some areas everyone caught

To those wishing to fish the lets fish Regional this month on the canal please sign up on the eventbrit page ASAP
Secondly please get those sponser forms filled up for the sponsored walk ..this is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and the money raised all goes back in to the club .

📣 Cadets/Juniors… PLEASE join the committee for the sponsored walk on the 9th May. This is a big fund raiser that we rely on to be successful (in order to keep the club running for you.) If you can’t make it, maybe look to fundraise or donate in another way. 🙏
