A complete team performance, so many special mentions from the coaches from the first snap to the last. But when everyone's playing well, these four still found a way to stand out.

Offensive MVP - #31 James Kemp
The 90-yard touchdown the fun police took off the board? That was Kemp. With 1 TD to his name already, Kemp ran angry, but smiled through every quarter of the game, and Plymouth felt every yard of the fun Kemp had!

Defensive MVP - #15 Daniel Kirby
Of Exeter Demons fame, Kirby turned Plymouth's passing game into a no-fly zone. Excellent coverage, perfect positioning, and the kind of performance that makes quarterbacks look elsewhere.

Gameday MVP - #7 Charlie Spear
Wyvern of the Year 2025. Demon of the Year 2026. First Wyverns start. First Wyverns win. Charlie commanded the huddle, calmed the offence down, and delivered in a run-heavy gameplan, we needed a calm head and Charlie delivered.

Deadline day transfer. Moved to Somerset. Found his home. What a debut. Herc played defensive line, linebacker, and absolutely ran through people on special teams. An instant hit with his teammates and an absolute animal on the field. Somerset found a keeper!

Unfinished business. The decider awaits.

Two weeks ago we went to Plymouth and came up short. This Sunday, the Vanguard came to Victoria Park and found out what happens when you have to come through Somerset to be relevant.

The defence was suffocating again. The offence put points on the board. And somewhere in between, a 90-yard touchdown got wiped off the scoreboard because raising your arm is a celebration... 🚨

Credit to Plymouth for battling hard in both fixtures. Two tight, physical games between two teams who'll be seeing plenty more of each other. But this week, the W belongs to the Wyverns.
