We hope that you are enjoying this glorious weather. I can't quite believe that the summer holidays are almost over. I am attaching the term dates for our Tuesday & Friday classes for the coming academic year.

We look forward to seeing you all in September when classes return.

Here is the information about our upcoming presentation evening on Friday 13th June at Staplegrove Village Hall.

The doors will open at 5.20pm and the dancing will start promptly at 6pm.

There will be tea, coffee and cake available during the break.

This is always a fun evening where we celebrate the success and hard work of all our pupils. The Porter Trophy will be awarded and there will be a raffle for both adults and children.

Entry is £2 for non dancers and £1 for dancers and all profits go to charity.

Please can children from our Tuesday classes ensure that they wear their uniform of dance t-shirt and black leggings and that hair is tied up. If anyone needs a new dance t-shirt , please contact Susanne.

Please make sure to bring cash with you on the night as we don’t have the facility to take card payments so this will be the only way to pay on the evening.

There will be a partial road closure affecting the road outside of Staplegrove Hall from Monday 10th March. Access to the hall will still be possible but there may be a slight diversion dependent on which end of Taunton you are coming from. Please bear this in mind and leave plenty of time to get to your classes.

🚧 Emergency work to maintain power for nearly 2,000 homes in Taunton will need a partial closure of a section of the A358 Staplegrove Road from Monday 10 March.

Here's what you need to know:
🔹 Location: A358 Staplegrove Road, from the Manor Road junction to the roundabout at the Greenway Road junction
🔹 When: Starting Monday, 10 March
🔹 Duration: Up to 4 weeks
🔹 Traffic Management: One-way system in place

Traffic coming into Taunton will need to follow a marked diversion route, via Silk Mills Road. Traffic heading out of Taunton can use the A358 as normal.

We're liaising with National Grid to minimise disruption and ensure the work is done as quickly as possible. It’s understood the work will take place at least six days a week until 11pm.

Thank you for your patience and please plan ahead to avoid delays.

Our lovely Sarah is raising money for the Little Princess Trust by having her hair chopped off and donated to make a wig for a child who has lost their hair due to cancer treatment. We all know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease so please donate what ever you can to this amazing cause.

We hope that you are all well and surviving the madness that the festive season brings! 🎄🎅🏻

Next Tuesday will be our last class on a Tuesday and as is tradition we will be holding a joint Christmas Party for the classes. Please can children arrive promptly for a 4.30pm start and be collected in person by parents from the foyer at 6.15pm.

Children can wear something Christmassy but please be mindful that they will be dancing so may get hot if wearing jumpers.
