We’re delighted to confirm that Rory Mercer has re-signed for another season with the Antlers.

A vastly experienced prop and a familiar face in Antlers colours, Rory has been a key part of the club’s success over many years. His commitment, durability and willingness to put his body on the line week after week make him a hugely valuable member of the squad.

Now approaching an incredible 200 1st XV appearances, Rory is closing in on a milestone achieved by very few players and one that reflects his outstanding service to the club.

And for those who enjoy a niche club statistic, Rory remains the only current Antler to have been yellow carded at Twickenham – a record that has stood the test of time and one we’re not expecting anyone to challenge anytime soon!

We’re delighted to have Rory back for another season as he continues his march towards 200 caps.

🦌 We’re delighted to confirm that our talismanic captain, Jack Valentine, has re-signed for another campaign in Antlers colours.

Leading from the front every single week, Jack embodies everything this club stands for – commitment, toughness and an unwavering desire to drive standards higher. His influence extends far beyond the 80 minutes, setting the example both on and off the pitch.

Having our skipper back at the heart of the squad is a huge boost as we look ahead to the new season, and we can’t wait to see him leading the boys out once again. 🦌

🦌 A huge congratulations to our new 2nd XV Captain, Callum Whyte 🦌

We’re delighted to announce that Callum Whyte will lead the Antlers 2nd XV for the upcoming season.

After an outstanding campaign that saw him deservedly pick up both the Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year awards, Callum’s appointment is a reflection of the standards he sets every time he pulls on the Antlers shirt.

His relentless drive to improve, unwavering commitment to the club, and willingness to lead by example have made him a natural choice to captain the side. Whether it’s on the training pitch, on matchday, or behind the scenes, Callum consistently gives everything for the Antlers.

We’d also like to take this chance to pass on our sincere thanks to our outgoing captains, Emmo Allen and Jacob Williams, for their hard work, leadership and dedication over the past few seasons. Both have played a huge part in the continued growth and success of the 2nd XV, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done.

Congratulations, Callum – we’re all behind you and can’t wait to see what this group can achieve under your leadership.

Joining us from Esher, with previous spells at Barnes and Richmond, the 28-year-old brings leadership, game management and plenty of quality to the squad.
