The aim of the sessions is to have fun and exercise safely.

It’s developed so that everyone who wishes to – including those who can’t necessarily keep up with the standard game due to age or injury – can still play netball. And whether to boost activity levels, find a hobby, or seek new friends, thousands of women across the country have taken up the walking version of this popular sport.
According to the Directory of Walking Sports, walking netball is likely to be the second fastest growing walking-sport behind walking football.

Fancy joining us?

Venue: Acorn Centre, Lummaton Cross, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8ET

Time: Tuesdays at 6pm for one hour (from 1st September)

Equipment: all equipment is supplied. It is important that you wear supportive trainers and comfortable clothing.

Dates for the Autumn Term:
1st September – 22nd December
£52 total = pay in full or in two instalments
£26 payable by 1st September
£26 payable by 1st November

It's fun, it's sociable and a great way to get fit and make new friends... Many ladies hadn't played since school so don't let that put you off!

From September, we will be playing at The Acorn Centre in Torquay on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm. We are currently adding people to our waiting list so get in touch if you’re interested.
Over 50s ladies Walking Netball Club.
The Acorn Centre is a 20 minute drive from Teignmouth and we plan to car share each week.
