My feet are killing me but my heart is full! So proud of all our students who performed today at Telford Festival. It was a long day but a great one!

✅ A REMINDER OF OUR JULY TIMETABLE! ✅

Our final week of term (Week 6 of summer part 2) is split across two weeks. Mon, Tues, Weds will run as normal then we will close till Sun 12th.

We have our exams Mon 13th and Tues 14th July, then classes resume Fri 17th and Sat 18th before we close for the summer holidays on Sun 19th July!

Summer Term Part 1 Begins! We are glad to be back and ready to get this summer term started!

✅ A NOTE FOR YOUR DIARIES!
Next half term - Summer Part 2 - will work a little differently than normal. The final week of our term (Week 6) will be split across two weeks in July as shown in the image below.

✅ Our Summer exams will take place in the day timetables TBC but current estimates suggest it'll be somewhere between the 13th and the 16th. In the daytime! (As always!) As soon as we have schedules confirmed we will let all the exam students know via email!

✅ Exam Entry Fees will be due nearer to Half Term - again we will email you the amounts and the deadline date for those!

So proud! ❤️ I am always proud of our students, but to receive such glowing comments from parents and strangers alike regarding our students performance is an honour as one of their dance teachers.

And of course some medals are always the cherry on top.

30 of our students are heading to Telford Festival (June Edition) to compete over the next two weekends. They have been working hard since our last competition in March and we cannot wait to see all their progress!

National Youth Dance Wales provides training and performance opportunities for young dancers from Wales aged 16 to 22. They hold auditions to find a company of 20 young dancers each year, who work with a guest choreographer to create and perform a new contemporary dance piece.

Our fabulous senior student Eleri will have the opportunity to complete a 2 week creative residential in August at the Royal College of Music in Cardiff. Here she will complete technique classes and work with the company to create a new dance piece with Welsh choreographer Osian Meilir.

Eleri will also get chance to participate in a well being programme, and to work alongside costume, set and lighting designers. A second residency in October at University of South Wales, Newport will culminate in a performance at The Dance House, at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
