We’re still wrapping up on yesterday’s British Weightlifting Tier 3 competition, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it such a fantastic day.

To our incredible volunteers and officials – thank you for giving your time, energy and expertise. Events like this simply couldn’t happen without you.

To all the family members, friends and supporters – thank you for bringing the atmosphere, cheering every lift and encouraging every athlete from first attempt to last.

And finally, to our athletes – thank you for your commitment, determination and sportsmanship. With over 30 lifters across four groups, you’ve put on a brilliant display of strength, resilience and community spirit. Whether you achieved a personal best, stepped onto the platform for the first time, or simply gave it everything you had, you should all be proud of your performances.

Thank you all for making today such a success. We hope you’ve enjoyed the competition, travelled home safely, and we look forward to seeing you again at the next event.
