An excellent week away with the England Deaf Men’s senior team in Portugal.
Great to see the progress the players are making on the pitch through their work in training and off the pitch. The transparency and collective drive between staff and players continues to develop which we hope can lead to exciting times ahead!

An excellent camp with the England CP Para Lions. With games against Scotland and USA, the weekend offered us our first international competitive fixtures in three years.
Lots of encouraging and insightful moments on and off the pitch as we continue the preparations for the World Cup in April.
Time to continue the work away from camp to best prepare the staff and players for the upcoming tournament. Always a pleasure to be with this group.

A wet and windy night for and with the hosts winning 2-0.
A game where Wimbledon tried to combine switching play through the midfield with forward rotations aiming to receive in the channels. QPR defended effectively for the majority of the game and on the whole, it was a big improvement from the first fixture between the two.
Time to reflect and prepare for the next game on Sunday.

Big congratulations to and for their work to support in their Kent Senior Cup success. Mac is now the 1st team analyst and Fred working on the media side. The two are gaining some great experience at a well established club on the up.
Great to see them both enjoying the process and enjoying some just rewards for their hard work. Keep it up lads!

A slightly personal post:
A special day today, is one of the reasons LA Analysis exists. I owe them a huge amount for what they taught me about football, people, leading a team and much more. The experiences I had there have helped me grow professionally and as a person.
It was great to be able to link up with them again and organise a fixture at St George’s Park for the current APD scholars against the GB Deaf Men’s team. The “APD Way” was out in full force, providing us with a good variety of challenges during the game. A beneficial experience for us as we prepare for our next two games in the Deaflympics Qualifiers for next year.
A shoutout to and for making the journey up with the players. Always a pleasure to be reunited with good people. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

A pleasure to be invited to deliver a lecture to the Football Coaching & Management students yesterday. The lecture focused on the role of a performance analyst in the coaching cycle and how to have a positive influence.
