Today we moved to our new home at Shrewsbury Town Football club where we enjoyed some coaching and game time

Today we were joined by Soren who is fundraising for his trip to Cambodia.
He will be involved in coral conservation and helping with community development.
We helped raise funds for him by selling football cards. Kate won the prize and very kindly donated it to Soren.

Sadly, due to circumstances beyond our control, the over 60s tournament at Monkmoor Recreation Ground on 26th April has had to be postponed.
Thankfully, our friends at Hartshill Strollers have stepped in, and are now hosting an over 60s tournament on that date at Summerhill School, Kingswinford.
Apologies to those who are now no longer able to attend, but there are still 5 teams attending, so it promises to be a great day celebrating women's walking football

Today we were visited by Emma Wilde, the Wellbeing Services Manager at Ageuk Shropshire Telford and Wrekin.
We are all sad that Ageuk has lost the contract with Shropshire Council to support us along with other Wellbeing groups .
We would like to pass on our thanks to Emma and the team at Ageuk for their help and support in setting up our walking football team.
We'll keep on going, and hopefully we'll keep in touch. Emma will continue to refer ladies age 55+ to us if they'd like to join us on our walking football journey ⚽️
