Boy did we make Hard work of This 1!! Yes we were Missing Lads but we had more than enough to get the Result Wem made the Lads Work Hard today a real spirited performance from them! We went behind and Trailed At Half Time A few strong words and a Reshuffle and we came out the traps fast with Alistair Heighway Coming off the bench to bring the Town level Kris Bate with an Audacious Effort found the top corner to put The Town in front we kept probing looking to kill the game we eventually get a third again a brilliant close range Strike and a brace for mr Heighway Wem pegged us back through an own goal but we keep our heads to see out the game and we take all 3 points Big shout out to Tom Quinn who made his long awaited comeback from injury stepping up in goal due to having no recognised keeper Available some fantastic saves and a well deserved Man of the match!!

POOR START FROM THE OFF FOR THE TOWN GOING BEHIND WE STRUGGLED TO GET OUR GAME GOING WE PEGGED WEST FELTON BACK WITH A GOAL FROM RILEY BURNETT ON HIS DEBUT!! A RESHUFFLE AND SOME STRONG WORDS FROM
THE MANAGER AT HT AND THE TOWN COME OUT THE TRAPS THE 2nd HALF PLAYING SOME LOVELY FOOTBALL WHICH SEEN THE TOWN TAKE THE LEAD WITH KRIS BATE PUTTING THE BALL IN THE BOTTOM CORNER TO GIVE US THE LEAD WEST FELTON PEGGED US BACK FROM THE SPOT FROM A PENALTY THAT NEVER WAS!! I MEAN HOW YOU CAN GIVE A PENALTY DECISION FROM THE CENTRE CIRCLE IS BEYOND ME!!! THE GAME BECAME REALLY SCRAPPY BOTH SIDES FAILING TO CREATE MUCH AND THE GAME ULTIMATELY ENDS A DRAW!! A fantastic Cup Tie a very tight Affair which could of gone either way Broseley town broke the Deadlock after 35 mins through Luke Pickering the Town were pegged back just before Half time 2nd half was pretty much the same as the 1st with both sides closing 1 n other out! the game looked to be going to penalties but Dorrington scored with minutes to spare sending them into the Semi final A great game all In all 🤝

Unfortunately the Pitch as been Deemed unplayable By the Broseley FC Committee Due to the Persistent Rainfall we’ve Had this week!! The Game as been Postponed

Bad day at the office!! 4-0 probably a little Harsh and probably doesn’t tell the full story But that’s the Joys of Football we make no excuses!! Simply not good enough in the final 3rd and we were Punished for it!!
