Wellington Telford Swimming Club Wellington (Telford) ASC is a friendly swimming club that aims to be at the heart of the community

Wellington (Telford) Swimming Club aims to be at the heart of the local swimming community. In addition to the sessions aimed specifically at the performance squad, there are sessions at for those who want to swim regularly to improve fitness and we offer lessons to all children who can swim 25m. These lessons are run in line with the ASA Learn to Swim framework and are designed to ensure good swimming technique in all the strokes. Once this has been achieved, we look to build up stamina and strength and have a set route for those children wishing to race competitively. In addition we also have our own very successful water polo teams, from junior (12s and under) to adults. If you require more information or want to arrange for an assessment, please send us a message on facebook or follow the link to our new website and book a free assessment: http://wellington.swimclubmanager.uk/page/new-swimmers/48457

💚 What a weekend! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

A huge well done to all our Wellington swimmers who competed this weekend! Some fantastic swimming, lots of support and, most importantly, a brilliant team spirit. 💚🖤

It was lovely to see how friendly and supportive the swimmers were across all the age groups — something that makes our club so special. 🥰

📸 We’ve got two great Squad Team photos to share… although unfortunately no Teaching Squad photo! They were warming up while these were taken, and with all the weekend chaos, the picture just didn’t happen! 🤦‍♀️😂

Well done everyone! 💚🖤👏

💚 Good Luck to All Our Students! 💚

A huge good luck to all of our swimmers collecting their GCSE results today! 🍀

We know how much hard work, dedication and determination you've put in – balancing school alongside hours of training in the pool is no easy achievement. Whatever your results today, remember they don't define you. Be proud of everything you've accomplished.

We'd also like to say a massive congratulations to everyone who received their A-Level results last week. We hope you're celebrating your successes and are excited for whatever comes next, whether that's university, an apprenticeship, work or a new adventure.

We're incredibly proud of every one of you!

Good luck, Team Wellington! 💚🖤🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

🏊‍♀️💚 WE’RE BACK IN THE POOL! 💚🏊‍♂️

Swim training is officially back underway this evening following our two-week summer break! 💦🙌

It’s great to have our swimmers back in the water and getting those lengths in again! 💪

📅 For the next two weeks, training will run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only, at the usual session times.

From 1st September, we’ll return to our normal schedule of five sessions per week.

🏆 With Club Championships just around the corner, the next few weeks of training are really important. We’d love to see as many swimmers as possible attending sessions and getting themselves race-ready!

Welcome back, Team Wellington! 💚🖤 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

🚨 Reminder – No Training Tonight 🚨

Just a reminder that there is no swimming training tonight.

Following conversations with parents, we expected attendance to be very low due to this evening's England match ⚽, so the decision was made to cancel tonight's session.

We hope everyone enjoys the game, and we look forward to welcoming all of our swimmers back at the pool for the next scheduled training session.

Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁⚽
