We are a local running club based in Oakengates Telford. We cater for all abilities from Beginners to experienced. We are an affiliated club with England Athletics and have a annual membership fee, this is payable on joining the club and annually thereafter. (Annual fees are required to be

paid in full by the 1st of March )

What you can expect if you join our club:
• Twice weekly run sessions.
• Three groups per run (Red, Green & Blue) each group is paced base and offers a variety of distance to suit all abilities.
• Individual or group coaching is available from our friendly qualified Coach.
• Advice covering all aspects of running, including health & safety, nutrition, clothing, mobility, injury prevention and running technique is available.
• Run together and no-one left behind is our ethos.
• Suitable for 18 years and over.
• All runs are supported by qualified run leaders.

We meet at Hartshill Park, Oakengates TF2 6AJ. - Monday & Wednesday 6:30pm (meet at the Bandstand)

C25K session info:
What will the training sessions involve?
• You can expect after approximately 10 weeks of training to be able to run at least 5k.
• The key will be patience and consistency, you will get support and encouragement from coaches and other runners in the group.
• Depending on starting ability, for the first few weeks you will combine walking with running. For instance:
Week 1: walk 50 seconds and run for 10 seconds, then repeat
Week 2: walk 45 seconds and run for 15 seconds, then repeat, etc.
• The rate of increase will depend on your rate of progress. Who is running the course and why? The group will be lead by a qualified coach or run leader with experience in running fitness. The lead will be a member of England Athletics and is DBS checked. Updates:
We will post on the page when the next course is due to start, be sure to reserve your space. Information can be provided on request regarding everything you need for you for week one , e.g. what clothes to wear etc. How to sign up for the Couch to 5K course. There are several ways you can register your place on the course:-

❤️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ T50 COMPLETE! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️❤️
Today, 20 Hartshill Runners took on the challenge of the T50 Relay
Going into the event, we did not to know what result to expect! What happened next exceeded all expectations… ❤️
❤️ Official Time: 6 Hours 49 Minutes 41 Seconds ❤️
An absolutely phenomenal effort from every single runner involved. From the first leg to the last, everyone gave their all, supported one another, and embodied everything that Hartshill Runners stands for. ❤️
This wasn’t just about running. It was about teamwork, friendship, encouragement, and determination. Every handover was seamless, every runner delivered, and every supporter on the sidelines helped make today something truly special. ❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who ran, drove between checkpoints, cheered at handovers, tracked progress, and kept the team moving forward. ❤️
We are incredibly proud of what was achieved today. Watching it all come together was simply amazing. ❤️

🔥 Huge shout out to our Hartshillions! 🔥
Another fantastic turnout for Race 3 of the Sexarathon Series on Wednesday evening – the infamous Shropshire Granville 4 Mile Race.
Granville is certainly not for the faint-hearted, with three laps and three tough climbs of that wonderful hill, but as always our runners took it all in their stride. They tackled every ascent with determination and plenty of smiles, crossing the finish line with some incredible performances and a host of PBs along the way.
The support, encouragement, and team spirit on on the side line did not go unnoticed. Thank you to our support crew ❤️
I remain immensely proud of every single one of you. ❤️🖤

Hartshill Runners are bringing SPUNCH to Oakengates! 🏃‍♂️🚶‍♀️🗺️

Think treasure hunt meets running and walking! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just fancy trying something different, SPUNCH is a fun score-course challenge where you collect points by visiting checkpoints around the town and trails of Oakengates.
