Wrockwardine Wood Girls U10’s

Girls this morning took on Albrighton, very close match, the girls gave 100% as they do every week, some excellent passing and some even better battling, the result didn't go our way but we're so pleased with what the girls do in a boys league week in and week out, just proving that the girls deserve to be in that league 👌

Player of the match today was Millie, an excellent performance, very strong on and off the ball, worked tirelessly for the team

Last game for the term this morning against NC, some really good moves in the game, and some really good battling, coming away as winners,
Again as always the girls always give 100% and we are super proud of them all

Girls played a semi final today but unfortunately it wasn't to be today, these girls gave everything today and we are more than happy with all of their efforts

As a team these girls turn up each week, give 100% for the team and as coaches we are soo happy with all of their efforts, getting to a semi final in our first year in the boys league they should all be proud

Girls played against lawley this morning, as always the girls put in an amazing shift, some of the passing on display was soo good to watch, some well worked goals aswell, these girls always work hard for the team.

Cup game for the girls today, a slow start saw us coming in at half time losing 4 -0, the girls came out in the 2nd half and showed heart and desire to pull it back to 4 -4, with some great play and showed how much they wanted it, taking the game to penalties where our super keeper made some great saves to takes us into the next round of the cup

Today we played our last game before Christmas, against Broseley, and came away with a loss, the girls played some nice football and battled really hard throughout.
A couple of little errors on a couple of the goals but overall the girls done well,

Player of the match was lottie, she played really well today, strong as always and was reading the ball really well

All the girls deserve a well earned break for Christmas, we are immensely proud of all the girls this term, all of them are really invested in the team, they are all willing to learn and we love watching these girls battle it out against the boys

This morning the girls took on albrighton, think it was a tale of 2 halves, first half some excellent bits of play from the girls, some lovely passing moves very much in control of the game, but 2nd half think we let them get back into the game, we can never fault the girls 100% effort every game 💪

Girls took on a very strong randlay side today and I'm really struggling for words, each and every girl today gave 110%, they all played there part, the girls took everything on board that was told them before the game,only losing by the 1 goal but result aside the girls put on amazing performance

Tough to choose player of the match as everyone of the girls put a shift in, but for the amazing few saves which kept the scoreline down we chose elizabeth

Cup game for the girls today against NC UTD blue, some excellent passing and battling from the team on not the greatest pitch, could of possibly scored another few goals but just wouldnt go in for us, the girls battled through and came out as winners, onto the next round of the cup

Last game before a well earned break, saw the girls take on lawley in the league, slow start to the game in the first half, after a little chat at half time saw the girls step up a gear, passing the ball alot quicker and looked alot sharper, coming away from the game as winners
