Yesterday, Pippa in Year 7 had the incredible opportunity to dance at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, representing Gem Academy. She had a wonderful day and came away with several awards 🏆
Pippa is a truly hard‑working student, excelling both in and out of the classroom, and we couldn’t be prouder of her achievement. Well done, Pippa – a fantastic accomplishment! 🌟

This weekend, we took three teams to Blackpool to compete at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom and what an unforgettable experience it was. Every dancer gave an outstanding performance, and together we created memories that will stay with us for a lifetime as a dance family.

The competition was huge, with hundreds of talented dancers, and the atmosphere in the ballroom was truly electric.

And to top it all off, the results were incredible:

MINI-GEMS – 1st place in their section
GEM-FUSION – 1st place in their section
GEM-UNITE – Most Promising Team of the Competition
Special Award Trophy – GEM ACADEMY: Up and Coming Dance School

Miss Gemma and Miss Charlotte couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.

So incredibly proud of our Gem Unite team tonight at Shrewsbury’s Gotta Dance ✨ Not only did they perform beautifully on stage, but they were also complimented so many times on how polite and well-mannered they are off it too 💫 Truly beaming from ear to ear—what a special group of girls 💖
