What’s next!
RSR deadline is….. tomorrow!!! All riders that are wanting to attend MUST complete the registration form. If you don’t have this, please drop me a message and I’ll send it over.
We have decided to change the cluster to 9-11 years. Main reason for this is to help the younger riders that move into the points scoring age group at nationals (9s) and help prepare them with a solid foundation for Development Centres.
Development Centres will now be age 12-16. This is to be able to prepare the 12s with the relevant information in preparation for the next years RSR application. We are fortunate to have some incredible riders in the Midlands that actually made this choice quite easy.
The next Cluster session is still as planned for Sunday 8th February. This will take place at Birmingham BMX Track from 2pm - 4pm.
The next Development Centre is Saturday 21st February at Manchester indoor as previously advertised with the North region. The big change is the 12s age category can book onto this too! Places are limited and low!!! Don’t miss out!! If you are struggling to get booked on, just drop us a message 🙂

CALLING ALL MIDLANDS RIDERS!
We are fortunate to be able to offer 2 Development Centres within our region BUT the numbers are incredibly low!
But why? It would be great to hear from the parents of the riders 10-12 years and 13-16 years.
Benefits of attending Development Centres.
- The sessions coached by coaches that are active within British Cyclings Talent Development Pathway attending sessions higher up the Pathway. This means the coaches are up to date with current techniques and the ever changing sport that we love.
- We have structured sessions with goals that are set from the first off season session in preparation for the upcoming race season.
- The coaches are here to aid with progression towards further steps in the Talent pathway. The understanding of the RSR sessions and what is needed to progress to this level.
- The understanding of age and stage. Just because you see the top elite constantly sharing different techniques and seeing them “pull back” out the gate. There are many stages of every technique, these come from a solid foundation!
Please drop us a message if you have any questions
