500cc Sidecar for sale, ready to race. This was my no.2 bike and raced in Holland, France and Germany.

Offset Jawa motor with cosworth piston and special (sidecar) cam and flywheels, has only been used at one meeting since it was fully rebuilt. Dmon mapped rev tuning and limiter, Bewley gear box, Blixt carb, new fibreglass guards, new chain, scandic belt drive, 2022 King exhaust and will come with spares including the option to change to hydraulic clutch leaver, side chassis, front wheel with good trials tyre (for those dry tracks), cluch plates, fibres and part used belt, air filter, various footrest, grab bars etc and fibreglass parts.

Long time no post! After the last race meeting in Staphorst last year the 'comeback' didn't feel right to me. Racing wasn't the same and rather than forcing something to happen I decided back then to hang up the Kevlars (again lol). I still love the sidecars and will always keep an eye on whats happening but its time to let it go.

I'll have a sidecar up for sale shortly with a bunch of spares.

Without the team, family and sponsors none of what we achieved over the years would have been possible, So once again THANKYOU.

Finally our return to the track but it didn't turn out how we had all hoped. We practiced in Neuenknick, Germany on Saturday that went really well and then we went onto Bielefeld Sat evening.

Practice again went great on the big 700m Bielefeld circuit and we were quick - like we hadn't been away! But straight after this practice the no.1 engine developed a massive problem and was now unusable. Kim also developed a problem and was not going to be 100% fit to ride. We gave the first race a go on the no.2 bike but then a gearbox problem heaped more problems onto an already challenging day so we packed up and watched the European solo semi-final instead!

Unfortunately Dave wasn't well enough to travel to Vries last weekend so we've a bit of a wait until the next scheduled meeting.

In a couple of weeks we return to racing, looking forward to having some fun with the team.

Been shopping to the best bikeshop today. Will has got everything you need, great to have them back onboard with the team.

Sorry to everyone who wished us a happy racing retirement back in 2022, but we're coming back for a bit more fun! A little bit smaller scale and a little bit less full on but with the same old/new team! We'll race in Holland and Germany a few times this year and ensure its always a fun day racing.

It's former passenger and top horst Kim Kempa's birthday today, happy birthday young lady.

Well what a great couple of days and an even better way to end this sidecar55 journey. We travelled to Holland on Saturday to meet up with the Dutch side of the team and of course Kim for Banta, burgers and beer!

Then yesterday we took to the track for a practice day and it was like the team hadn't been apart for over a year, the bike felt good and we drove the little track as fast and hard as we could. It was a relief to know we've still got it.

sidecar55 has been a part of many lives and a massive part of mine for 15 years, I hope it can live on somehow in some little way, somewhere! thanks again everyone who's been there for us and with us on the sidecar55 journey.
