Tenterden cycle club Social cycling club providing for all abilities. All levels: challenge rides to gentle social rides Whatever your level.....we've a ride for you.

Our aim: To encourage people of all abilities to enjoy group rides around our beautiful countryside. AND provide a forum for like-minded cyclists to get together and organise their own rides. Midweek daytime rides, ladies only rides, weekend social rides and sprints.

So …… eleven of us set off in two groups … and arrived at coffee in five groups …. Or was it six? 🤔. Our journey(s) there bore only a passing resemblance to the planned route, what with riders avoiding rough lanes, leaving out unnecessary deviations, and, in one case, getting extra miles in by ignoring a left turn. On the plus side, we did all get there …… eventually!

Another Wednesday- another heatwave 🥵. Some got up early to beat the heat, whilst others had their usual lie-in and opted for an easy-paced ride to the seaside - ice creams optional. ☀️🍦. And a shout-out to two Belgian cycle tourists who were passing through this morning and joined us for a photo!
