The best type of runs
Exploring new places 😎 🏃‍♀️

Running will always be my go-to… but a few years ago, when I couldn’t run, I got really into rowing.

As soon as I could run again, I stopped.

Every time I tried a 5k row after that, I’d quit after 500m. Not because I couldn’t do it… but because I wasn’t as strong as I used to be. I’d stare at my splits, compare them to my old times, get frustrated and give up.

Today I finished the full 5k. No music. No pressure. Just me vs my mind.

The time doesn’t matter. The splits don’t matter. What matters is I didn’t quit.

Stop comparing yourself to your old self. Just keep going.

I feel like I’ve just finished a marathon! 😂🚣‍♀️

Yes, it’s hot.

Yes, we’re all sleeping rubbish.

Yes, we’re all tired.

But we’re all in the same boat.

If you keep telling yourself you’re too tired to train, chances are you will be.

Instead, try tell yourself, “I’ll just get started and see how I feel.”

More often than not, you’ll finish feeling better than when you walked in.

The more energy you put in, the more energy you get back.

Don’t let the weather decide how you feel. ☀️💪

Squat form when you’re fresh vs squat form when fatigue kicks in 👀

My first few reps felt strong and controlled… but towards the end, my hips started rising before my chest and I began leaning forward more.

This is exactly why filming your sets is so useful it helps you spot what changes when you get tired.

My focus for the final reps:
✅ Brace before every rep
✅ Keep my chest and hips rising together
✅ Maintain control, even when it starts to burn

Fatigue is normal. Letting your form completely fall apart isn’t.

Train hard, but train smart 💪

I’ve taken it to a whole new level with this one… 🔥💪 Farmer’s carries on the StairMaster!

Think the StairMaster is just for cardio? Think again…

Add a pair of dumbbells and you’ve got a full-body strength and endurance workout 🥵

✅ Builds grip strength
✅ Strengthens your core
✅ Fires up your legs and glutes
✅ Improves posture and stability
✅ Boosts cardiovascular fitness

The key? Stand tall, brace your core and let your legs do the work.

Would you give this a try? 👇🔥

Your weaknesses don’t define you… they show you exactly where to focus. 💪

After my first Deadly Dozen competition, I knew where I needed to improve:
🏋️ Deadlifts
🏋️‍♀️ Push Press
🏋️ Clean & Press
🏋️ Snatches

So, here we go again… training for September! 🙌

Instead of avoiding the things I’m not as good at, I’m making them my priority. That’s how we get stronger.

Today’s session:
🔥 2 rounds of 30 reps on each movement

I’m training with the men’s weights because we’re competing as a mixed doubles pair. 💥

Progress doesn’t come from only doing what you’re good at. It comes from working on what challenges you.

Find your weakness.
Train it.
Improve it.
Repeat.
