A reminder that The Great British Bake Off 🇬🇧 begins on Channel4 tonight at 8pm 📺 🍰 Our first Bake Week is next week, where we will recreate the challenge from tonight’s show.

We have seen many requests to join us on Thursday 1st October but are unable to respond to comments on the Thetford Forum post. If you would like to join us and participate in our own weekly Bake Off 🙌 please send us a message and we will add you to the private WhatsApp group for Bakers 😀

Each week, you’ll watch the episode on TV, see the challenges and get inspired. Then you’ll have just over a week to research, plan, experiment and come up with your own bake before bringing it along to our Thursday night showdown! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

It’s not just about winning — it’s about getting together, having a laugh and enjoying some seriously good cake! 🥂🍰

We’ll drink wine, eat cake and have fun while putting our own Thetford twist on the challenges.

So whether you’re a seasoned baker, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between… come and join us!

Bike stolen from outside the Thetford Ex Service Club at 20.14 this evening (Monday 14th September). We believe to have the culprit arriving on an e-scooter coming over the bridge from town just 1 minute prior. If anyone has any information, please report it to the Club.

A beautiful arrival from Somerset 😍

Alongside Saturday’s pool exhibition 🎱 we are delighted to have taken arrival of a new pool table within the Club. Thank you Ryan Alan 👏🏻

But what about the old table, I hear you ask? Well… this “well-loved” table will be relocated at the top bar and will remain free-of-charge, intended for the use of our youth players (but available for all).

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Thetford Ex Service Men's Club now features 3x match-standard tables for men’s Tuesday and women’s Monday leagues as well as for the use of our members!

Trying to summarise last night is tricky, and trying to condense the highlight reel is almost impossible when every part of Oly’s 3.5hour exhibition could be considered a highlight 🎱👏🏻

🤩 Oly Bale you were simply phenomenal, a great entertainer and a lovely guy. We can’t wait to do this again!!
