What a weekend!
Two days of great fighting in both duels and buhurt!

We would like to thank each and every person who turned up to make the tournament happen.

Special thanks to the Knight Marshal and the entire marshalling team for helping to run the event and keep us all safe.

Started a completely new and out-of-the-box sport one month ago.

Travelled to Ireland this weekend for my first medieval armoured combat tournament.

Today I walked away with 3 silver medals and new friendships in a fantastic community. A great group of people had even travelled over from America to compete.

Feeling great after being praised as the “crazy newbie.” 🤣⚔️

Not bad for one month in.

I still have an awful lot to learn, but I’m here for it.
Broadening the dynamic mix of Demon Bull Combat Sports while I’m at it… 😘⚔️🐂

We’re getting our FREE Lucky Dip ready for Saturday’s Card Trading Event at Thornbury Leisure Centre! 🎴🔥

orbitcardshow is a fantastic local card show, and with FREE ENTRY for under 13s, we thought we’d follow suit and bring along some of our Demon Bull Hunters Fitness Battle & Collectors Cards for the kids to discover! 🥊🐂

Every child can have a go at our FREE Lucky Dip and take home a card to start — or add to — their collection.

Our cards combine collecting, trading, gaming and fitness, with loads of different fighters, characters and special cards to find.

Just come over, get your entry ticket & have a lucky dip, see who or what you pull! 👀

Our dip will be on the front desk at the Thornbury Leisure Centre this Saturday — come and find it!

🥊 WHITE BELT PASSED — MAISON 🥊
A massive well done to Maison on passing his White Belt grading! 👊

Maison is one of the most enthusiastic students we’ve got. Despite being one of the newer kids in the gym, he’s always straight in there, giving everything his all — and usually finding a little bit extra as well. 😂🔥

He’s a big character, full of energy and never short of enthusiasm.
Exactly the sort of attitude we love to see.

This is only his first belt with us, but if he keeps bringing that same energy and willingness to learn, he’s got a long way and a lot of accomplishments ahead of him.

This is what consistency and dedication looks like in such a young kid. 🔥

Truly proud and blessed to have a young lad like Rupert on our squad.

Our current reigning Gym Champion, now receiving his Orange Belt after completing a gruelling grading! 🥋🔥

I’ve said it before — Orange Belt is probably my favourite belt to give out.

To me, Orange Belt is a massive milestone.

It means we no longer have a beginner. We have a committed student who knows the techniques, understands what’s expected of them and is ready to step it up into the next big gear.

Orange Belt creates a mindset.

It’s the stage where things really start to step up. It represents a student who has shown consistency, commitment and a solid understanding of the fundamentals, and is ready for the next stage of their training.

It’s also the belt where I really start to see a student’s own personality as a martial artist taking shape.

BIG UP to little Rocco! 🔥
He’s only done a hand full of lessons with us, yet still managed to jump straight into his belt grading at short notice — and absolutely SMASHED IT! 👊

Rocco’s got a proper little team behind him too!

His nan and dad make sure he gets to kids classes, while his uncle is one of our Unlimited members meaning he has his own dojo key — enabling the two of them to get extra training time together outside of standard class times.

That extra work is already starting to show!

A bright young prospect with a big future ahead of him.
