🧐 Our TRUFC Crowd Funder Quiz Night is taking place this weekend 🧐

We hope that you are able to join the Quiz Night from 7.00 pm on Saturday, 19th September, after the Yorkshire Vase Cup (which is taking place in the afternoon). You can book your place for £15.00 for a team of 4-6 people and all money raised will go in to our Crowd Funder pot!! Everyone is very welcome, as always.

The club house will be open all afternoon and evening, so please feel free to either stay after the game or come along later to enjoy a fun evening, while fundraising for our great club.

We are beyond excited to officially launch our Thornensians Crowd Founder today, in association with British Gas Energy for Tomorrow.

We are kindly asking for your support, in order that we can future-proof our rugby club with solar energy, LED lights and better facilities for everyone! 💚

🏉 Our community rugby club has always been about more than just sport. We’re a family. A place where kids take their first pass, teens grow into leaders and lifelong friendships are made on and off the pitch. Now, we want to take the next step, to build a sustainable, welcoming future for our club and everyone who calls it home.

TRUFC are excited to be teaming up with JAM rugby and Matthew David McNab once more and we have just one week to go until our Development Sessions kick off at the club⏳

The sessions are open to boys and girls, aged 10 to 15 and spaces are filling up fast. If you would like your young rugby star to join in, focussing on 'Tackle & Contact', please drop an email through to the team on [email protected]

This summer, our Thornensians Captain, Antony Bull organised a fantastic golf day, along with other members of the TRUFC family. On the day alone, we raised £2415.79 which we are sure that you will agree is absolutely fantastic..

Antony said “after an amazing day in memory of the wonderful Wayne Ebbage, I can’t express how proud I am of Neil Connell, Dan Duckitt and myself for organising the event. We were raising funds for Wayne’s chosen charity, Firefly Cancer Awareness and Support who transport and look after cancer patients and help so many people every single year. We would like to thank everyone involved and also express our thanks to the main sponsor, Connect Fibre who worked with us to pull the event together and shared the day with us.".

This will be an annual event and we look forward to hosting it on the same weekend next year, which will be at the start of July 2027.
