I'll be honest, life with two young children plus a teenager, setting up my small yoga business this year and me and my husband both doing my part time jobs that require us each to be down in London once a month is a juggle. It's hard to find time for my own yoga self practice. Today it looks like a My Little Pony video with my older daughter while my younger daughter sits with us on the mat. I actually really like Cosmic Kids yoga though -proper yoga and so much fun. What does your self practice look like today?

Many students tell me that after a pregnancy yoga session they sleep much better! Pregnancy is a time of so much change so we often have busy minds, strong feelings and ailments from an ever-adapting body. Pregnancy yoga can bring gentle movement to help sore bodies, deep relaxation to sooth emotions and a community of others who are pregnant to share what's on your mind and realise you're not the only one worrying about that. One of the pranayama (breath work practices) we do in pregnancy yoga is the heart-womb breath. Following the breath as we watch it move between the heart and the womb. If you've had a hectic day it can be a nice way of slowing down and connecting to your baby.
