Yesterday was a very special day for Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club's Junior Coordinator Peter Elson, as he received a thoroughly well deserved Cricket Collective Award for Lifetime Services to Coaching!

Peter's contribution to TCCC and in particular our Junior Section over the years has been outstanding.

The number of current and former senior cricketers who have at one point been coached by Peter is a testament to how he passes his love of the game on to the next generation and makes TCCC a truly special place to play cricket

The 1st XI welcome Euxton to the 'Walla tomorrow afternoon while the 2nd XI travel to Grimsargh.

The 3rd XI make the short journey to take on Norcross, and there is a senior debut to look forward to for youngster Alex Holmes in the Sunday XI's fixture at Tarleton!

TCCC's Super 8s are in action at Penwortham this evening in a Northern Pyramid Super 8s Hundred Cup Semi-Final!

Congratulations to Rick Jenkinson, whose half-century at Fleetwood on Sunday for TCCC's 1st XI has seen him named in the MHA Northern Pyramid's Team of the Week for Matchday 16A!

This is also Rick's second Team of the Week appearance of the season!

Following his outstanding century for TCCC's 3rd XI against Vernon Carus on Saturday, Peter Elson has deservedly been named in the MHA Northern Pyramid's Team of the Week for Matchday 16!
