Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Club President, Trevor Wilde, passed away yesterday morning.

A former Chairman, Captain, Umpire and Coach, Trevor positively impacted the lives of so many current and former members of TCCC as well as those in the wider cricketing community.

In recent years, you could always find Trevor down at the Illawalla on a Sunday morning handing out cups of tea to coaches, offering pearls of wisdom to Junior Cricketers, and collecting two bacon sandwiches to take home for himself and his wife Joan.

Trevor leaves a lasting legacy at the Illawalla which will help inspire countless youngsters on their cricketing journeys to come, and he will be sorely missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The thoughts of everyone at TCCC are with Joan and all of Trevor's loved ones at this time

Tomorrow morning at the 'Walla our hard-working grounds team will be continuing their efforts to put the ground "to bed" for the winter.

All volunteers and help would be greatly appreciated, with work going on from 9:30 until around 2pm and all sorts of jobs both big and small to get ticked off
