Weekend Kitchen Staff Wanted at Fleetwood Rugby Club! 🏉🍔

We are looking for friendly, reliable people to join the team in the Sin Bin Kitchen on weekends!

This is a great part-time opportunity, ideally suited for young people seeking their first job, students, or anyone looking for flexible weekend hours in a vibrant community environment.

What you’ll be doing:
Basic food prep & serving food on matchdays and training days
Supporting our awesome clubhouse team
Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly

What we’re looking for:

A positive, willing-to-learn attitude (no experience needed—full training provided!)
Reliability and great teamwork skills
Polite and friendly customer service style

Played in multiple positions, always cool and calm in possession and backed herself to stay on the ball.

She had a great sense of urgency when possession was lost to try and stop the counter and win the ball back.

Brilliant again today playing at the back, carries the ball well with a great passing range can comfortably play off either foot. Used skills to escape pressure & created a goal.

Playing with loads of flair today, getting himself a hat trick with various finishes from distance, tight space & a back heeled flick. ASL always brings teamplay & absolutely loves creating chances for teammates. Great movement today causing havoc for the opposition

Parents Player AF 🏆

Rock solid in CM again today, really seeing the best of him in this position. Strong tackles are becoming his trademark. Through balls to create chances for teammates, good awareness with constant scanning. Getting himself on the scoresheet with a instep finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box

HB – Worked tirelessly for the team, battled for every ball and never gave up. His effort, determination and attitude were outstanding from start to finish.

FR – A brilliant all-round performance. Worked incredibly hard, linked play well, scored a deserved goal and constantly put Thornton under pressure.

PH – An outstanding display. Took both goals brilliantly, worked tirelessly for the team and was a constant threat going forward. His movement, decision-making and work rate were excellent throughout and he fully deserved the award.

A really positive pre-season performance with plenty of positives to take into the new season. The boys continue to improve every week, and it’s great to see them learning from their mistakes and responding in the right way.

U11 Xavi's POTM

A great game of football this morning for the Xavi’s against Poulton Town Jaguars.

POTM goes to the whole team today a outstanding team performance. We've been training and focusing on strength and bravery and the whole team brought that into the game and it was such a pleasure to see. Winning their 1v1s and passing the ball around with more urgency proved to be the key to unlocking the oppositions defence and scoring some well taken goals. Communication was really good too all over the pitch. A shout out to AP for stepping up and playing in goal, made some awesome saves, Communicated well and generally looked so confident. Really pleased with the entire team.

Another fantastic performance by RDN who wins both the Parents and Managers awards this week.
Following on from the tournament last weekend, R added another goal to his tally with a great finish.

⚽️🧤 FCS FIGO’S ARE RECRUITING FOR A NEW GOALKEEPER 🧤 ⚽️

The Figo’s are preparing to enter the 2026/27 season as U11’s playing up a year at U12’s and due to league rules regarding use of academy players we are recruiting for a new goalkeeper 🧤

A great opportunity to join a brilliant group of kids, parents and the 2026 Hogan Cup Winners 🏆

Interested players must be current school year 5 or 6.

We have just finished a great season playing in the Top U10 Division in the Blackpool League.

We are looking for a highly committed mid / high ability goalkeeper that thrives in a competitive yet fun environment.

We aim to provide football all year round with training, friendlies and tournaments during the off season as well as lots of out of football activities. The boys have had a successful first 3 and half seasons of football with lots of memories and various trophy wins across league cup and tournament’s.
We train twice a week (Monday & Thursday) at Blackpool and Fylde College (Bispham).
